As expected, I forgot my giveaway ended, but I finally emailed the code. Even if a couple days late. If this ever happens again, just PM me, winner!

Also, I decided to host another giveaway on a steam group of LAN party I usually attend to, but since it's not scheduled until 7 months from now and the forums are closed, I could only put the link on their steam page which quite frankly nobody checks. I just got 1 entry, so I reckon this person has a pretty good chance of winning. However, it strikes me as odd somehow, partially because this profile is on 291 groups. so I wanted to ask here: Are there people who somehow check for giveaways on public groups in order to enter them? Or, is there any way to check how long he's been part of any given group?

Also, let my worries here be a lesson and make your steam profile private. Makes things easier.

There is probably a way to scan Steam for public groups and join them. That would give a person access to any giveaways on Steamgifts that were made for that group.

Is the giveaway you are asking about private or a group giveaway?

As far as I know, there is no way to see when someone joins a group without being an admin to the group.

It's a public group, so anyone could potentially join.

Oh well, I'll just contact the winner in Basque. If he can't come up with a coherent answer, I'll simply not send the code and give it away here. Look forward to that.

You can also delete the giveaway before it ends or ask a mod at SteamGifts.
