Heyo, fellow GOG gamers.... )

So, I am currently in the process of trying to gift a GMG bundle. The problem is that there are like five games in the bundle, and GMG gave me the keys without indicating which key goes to which game. That makes it a bit difficult to give them away. I am hoping that I can get some help with this from GMG once I manage to get hold of them, but that last bit doesn't seem to be very easy, either. P

TL' DR: Giveaways are coming, Real Soon, Now(tm).

Think the last time I bought from GMG they were all itemised in the email... not sure though.

I had the same problem a couple of times with GMG, after the purchase you see a bunch of keys, and the same if you check the GMG account. But I checked my e-mail and the receipts have listed the games purchased and their corresponding Steam Keys, including the games from bundles listed with their Keys... ;)

We have been asked to address and express the group's stance on one of the new features introduced by steamgifts v2 called Blacklist

From the SteamGifts FAQ
How does a blacklist work?

"On user profiles, you'll see a button that has a circle icon with a slash through it. Clicking this button will add the user to your blacklist. This means the user will no longer see your giveaways on the homepage, and they will not be able to view or enter your giveaways from this point forward. If the user entered one of your giveaways prior to being blacklisted, their entry still remains valid."

We have been discussing this feature since a long time before it was introduced because it has a lot of potential issues that will affect the group.
Here is what has been decided in our group regarding this

1) Members of the group are free to block anyone they wish to not enter their giveaways, however i urge the members to use the blacklist feature to block fellow members only if its a serious issue , blocking fellow members will cause a break of harmony and trust among members that the group has had for so long and members will be subject to attacks over excluding someone.

2) There will be no calling out of names , attacking and crappy hidden hints that a particular giveaway made is blocking someone in the giveaway threads. This will be dealt seriously not limited to removal of the member or warnings.

3) If a member finds out that someone else has blocked them in their giveaways you are to deal with it outside the group, Contact the member via pm try to resolve it out.
We also request members to pm any of the mods if they are blacklisting a member along with the reason so that we are aware of it.

4) Blacklist is a personal difference between two members , it is something that group cant interfere with however calling out names in public forum , harassing/abusing the gifter over it is not allowed . If anyone comes across this they are free to report the issue to the mods of the group.


Feel free to contact any of the mods if there is a issue regarding blacklist.

Completely forgot to mention about our stance on another two features steam gifts v2 has that is multi-group giveaways and whitelist

1) you are free to do multigroup giveaways including other groups
2) These giveaways will not count towards your contribution count for the giveaway specially when checks are performed for Rule 10 mentioned here http://steamcommunity.com//groups/GOGGIFT
3) Group rules will not be valid and checked for in such giveaways since it will have entries from people not in the group.

Giveaway including Whitelisted members entries

1) you are free to do group giveaways with whitelist which allows whitelisted members to enter.
2) These giveaways will not count towards your contribution count for the giveaway specially when checks are performed for Rule 10 & 11 mentioned here http://steamcommunity.com//groups/GOGGIFT
3) Group rules will not be valid and checked for in such giveaways since it will have entries from people not in the group.

Phew managed to edit out a few words and added this as rule 14 in the group page

When I tried to enter a giveaway of the gift club, SG says I need to be a member of it.

I went to Steam group page and it says I need a invite to be a member but I can enter the chat and also gives the option to leave the group, so I'm half in/half out?

Checked the banned list on the group page (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/GOGGIFT/discussions/1/613936673525599768), I'm not in that list, no notification of kick/ban, checked my ratio, 3 gifted / 1 win, so that's not the problem I think.

Maybe Steam glitched?

Most likely it is steamgifts glitch, goto your profile there and 'sync' your account. (some times it misses groupes/games during previous sync)

You appear as a member of the group, so the problem must be with SteamGifts. Try again to sync with SG and check if your list of groups are correct this time. Is a common problem that sometimes SG doesn't save the list of groups after a sync, so a new sync is later required to fix it.
