Dear Gog gift club,

I just found out that I was kicked from the gift club without warning or resoning! There could have at least be a massage regarding the issue!

So, first I thought that I was kicked because of the new rules in which case I won and have contributed to the group..!

So, the question is: Why am I kicked? and/or is there chance to get back into the group?

Edit: I just re-checked the steam group if there is any info in it. Seems like somethings off! I'm still member of the group but can't acess the giveaways. Any news regarding this issue?

I'm thinking that the problem could be the SteamGifts site. Sometimes the syncing doesn't add the groups you belong and your wishlisted games. Go here and check the end of the page, it should list your groups at the end, including "GOG.com Gift Club":

If it says something like "no groups found", try a manual syncing in the top of that page until your groups appear again.

Just tried to re-sync with SG, seems fine now. It looks like somethings weren't going as they ment to be. (Not a suprise considering the many issues SG has in the last days)

No problem.

As a quick note for anyone else really: if/when you sync with steamgifts, scroll down your game list and see if it synced your groups.
Some times it only syncs games and leaves out groups, or it only gets the first few groups you are in.
Sadly I think there is a 15 minute timer on re-syncing.

I know I dont have enough rep, but I just want to gift my extra copy of The Witcher 2 in a fair way through Steamgifts. I would like to earn the Steamgifts points, but Im not that interested in wining giveaways.

What I´m trying to say is that im not an active member and I just want to gift my extra key for The Witcher 2. It would be nice if you invited me, but if I cant join, I would like anyone in the group to do the giveaway so a gog mate gets it before it expires.

That's a nice gesture, but you can only gift Steam games on SteamGifts (keys or gifts), and not keys or gifts that can't be activated on Steam (like the GOG keys for The Witcher 2).

Accualy there are only two. This one - for requesting an invite and general discusion(rules and stuff)
And the second one I mentioned before for information about started giveaways ;-).
All this is clearly stated in the first post of this thread :-)
