IronArcturus: There were a lot of great Star Trek titles! Bridge Commander and the Elite Force series were some of my favorites! But unfortunately it's very unlikely we'll see any Star Trek game on GOG anytime soon. :-/

Tarm: Bridge Commander is the only game I know of that makes you feel like a ship commander. It's great. I'd very much like more games that play like it.
FTL!

jamotide: There was an awesome shareware game on the Amiga where you could do everything, fly around, fight, beam cargo around for missions, it had excellent graphics.

Cool! I missed that during my Amiga 500 years.
My favorite Star Trek games: Starfleet Command series (especially with mods), Bridge Commander and Elite Force series. Would love to see them on the market again, i just know that won't happen, unless they sort out the IP's legal issues.

Umm...
Ok that game kinda fits. ;)
More than Star Trek games of the past, I'm looking forward to Star Trek games of the future. Holodeck-enabled ones, like this one:

Oh man, those life-like graphics blow up my mind, even if they are not running in full 1080p.

leon30: We all hope to see them here. Btw not so old as well - I want to see here Star Trek: Legacy :)
Ouch, why would you? That game was pretty bad!

TDP: Does anyone know an easy way to beat all the space battles in the PC version of 25th Anniversary? :(

I'd gladly put in a cheat code or mod the game to skip the ship combat completely.
I haven't played in years, but I seem to recall that if you put your ship in reverse (the '~' key on your keyboard) the enemy AI gets confused, and all the ships fall into a single file line to follow you.

From there, it's just a matter of putting your crosshairs on the ships, and spamming your attacks faster than they can theirs. It wasn't foolproof, but as long as the enemies didn't disable your weapons too quickly, you were in good shape.

Also, don't forget you can ask Scotty for extra power ('E' on the keyboard). This will help your shields and phasers recharge quicker, which will really make a difference.

Hope this helps.

Well I had good memories from it, kind of - I remember I got to some mission that couldn't complete and had to go (I played it in my cousin's house on), but it had nice graphics :)

It had very nice graphics for its time but the gameplay wasn't very good. Star Trek online did it so much better. Despite it's reputation, it is a good game.
I would love to see the Starfleet Command games on GOG, but they have real IP issues..the licence has changed hands a number of times... and I am not holding my breath.
Holy s*it, there's like 50 trek games for PC!!.... and I've never played one 0.0
Elite force, here I come
