Up to 90% off several camo-painted gems: Men of War series, Commandos, Xenonauts, Cannon Fodder, and more!

Attennnnn-tion! Delta Force deployed all over GOG.com today and we need to show these tough guys that we're combat ready. This is not a drill, everyone! Right now we've put a discount on several of our finest military units and they're over there, standing in line and ready for inspection. Be sure to come and check if they are indeed fit to be In the Army.

These lads are not called Men of War, for no reason. They've fought in both WWII and Vietnam, earning their place in history by completing mission after mission full of grueling RTS challenges. Their individual skills were quite impressive, but it was the tactical genius displayed by their commander that made all the difference.

How are you supposed to fight an enemy that is completely alien to you? The Xenonauts know how: with methodical turn-based tactics, arduous research of advanced technology, and carefully planned assaults. It's not easy, but it's the only way to reclaim the planet from those damn extraterrestrials.

Fight alongside the brave lads waiting inside our special In the Army sale, which also features the Commandos games, Cannon Fodder 1 & 2, Faces of War, and more up to 90% off!

The sale will last until March 26, 11 PM UTC.
Looks like these are all in my library. I particularly like this genre. :)

Maxvorstadt: The Commando games are not in this promo, so watcha talking bout?

GabiMoro: If you want I'll send them as a gift right away (for free, just to be clear).
Nope, not my genre. But thanks anyways. :-)
Give it to some German who wants and deserves it. You can make someone happy with that. :-)
Make sure you won't miss out on such a great game that Xenonauts is! True to the original XCOM series, it features great gameplay (although a steep learning curve if you're new to the franchise), great graphics (OK, i guess not if you're of a younger age or you don't like 2D) & a slick GUI but it requires careful planning or you WILL find the game to be hard as nails in many cases (for example, lose your best soldiers = good luck, you'll need it). So, hardcore gamers rejoice -- everyone else be careful not to bang your head on the wall!

So, TL; DR, I can't imagine a strategy fan who won't enjoy the ride; it will be hardcore, it will be stressful, but in the end it is sooo great! Oh, and you may need to uninstall the game if it gets too addicting. ;)
Woah, some really nice selection fo games! Thanks GOG and publishers! Also very happy for the Delta Force games :)
Already own 99.99% of the games from this promo . :(

Games of Commandos series, as per the information on their store pages, don't support Win10.
Can anyone confirm this (or the contrary) info?

Have a nice day!

Yes.The games don't work on Win10 in their vannila versions. The developers have stated that some core functions in the game engines of these games are impossible to overcome on Win10 as of now. They confirmed a future patch is in consideration, but we shouldn't hold our breath ;).Cheers

EDIT: I forgot to add that all 3 games can be made to run decently, with the help of external programs(wrappers to be precise ;p).Try to google it since it is easy to find.If you haven't bought them,i strongly recommend to do so, as they are very enjoyable and really unique(similar to the first Desperados game which is also here on GOG ;)).Cheers

Your loss. I've just replayed them recently and I can say Commandos (Behind Enemy Lines, Beyond The Call Of Duty and Commandos 2) are among the best 10 games ever made.

Matewis: O.o that's a tasty special for Xenonauts
Interestingly enough, Xenonauts had the same discount exactly this time last year. I'll never forget March 24th, the day I blew last years new years resolution XD

Cool, then I can wait till next year :) I want to finish terror from the deep first. I see it's gotten openxcom support which will make it infinitely more playable.

Apparently a simple renaming of the exe. file for the first Commando games makes the games run on Windows 10. See a discussion in the Commandos forum here for details.

Yes, that is correct.Renaming the executable fixes the games to some extent, but other issue like screen flickering, low fps or even complete freezes or CTD's can only be fixed with wrappers ;).Cheers
