Catmancer: Let me see if I understand this correctly: it's cheaper to by the individual games together than it is to get them through the bundle?
Yes, that is correct. The bundle will probably be cheaper after the end of the special sale, but for now avoid it.

Packages costing more than the sum of their parts happens more frequently than you would expect on GOG.
Also, Alien Breed 2: Assault says it has release date 2020 instead of 2010 like the other entries. Probably a mistake?

idbeholdME: Also, Alien Breed 2: Assault says it has release date 2020 instead of 2010 like the other entries. Probably a mistake?
Definitely a mistake.

Originally, the reboot started with Alien Breed: Evolution on the XBox 360 in 2009 - other platforms including PC got an expanded version renamed Alien Breed: Impact in 2010, with the main addition being the ability to spend credits at Intex terminals to purchase items and weapons upgrades (exactly like in the original Alien Breed on the Amiga). Alien Breed 2: Assault and Alien Breed 3: Descent were released in the following months.
How good is the keyboard + mouse control in thee Alien Breed games ?
Once again GOG's pricing does not make sense, buying one Alien Breed game is more expensive than buying all 3 together. But the 90% discount is tempting. Do the games run on Linux?
So anyone actualy played the games.. comment? review?.

Btw has Simcity4 Deluxe ever been more than 75% off?..i swear every time its on sale here, 75 is the most its been off?

According to IsThereAnyDeal, SimCity 4 Deluxe had an 80% discount 5 times in June 2015 and once in June 2016, but max 75% discount ever since.

As far as I remember it at least once has been 80% off several years ago and also 80 to 85% off several times in bundles.

Last time it has been 80% off was in the EA bundle during the Summer sale 2020 ("Buy 3 or more for a higher discount!"), last time I've seen it 85% off was in December 2016.

krickeck: Alien Breed games are OK but can get a bit repetitive. Completely overshadowed by Valves take on the genre with Alien Swarm.
Well, the difference between Alien Breed and Swarm is that you can play it. The SP is not usable in Alien Swarm, because you have to have 2P to even play the game. And aren't all of these games repetitive? Shadowgrounds, Breed, Swarm, you're just walking around a spaceship or something similar, killing aliens and collecting loot.

All 3 should work fine on Linux with wine.

Dose GOG make the discount decisions or is that up to the publishers?

Quite a narrow-minded way at looking at things. So, aren't one pair of boobs the same as any other pair of boobs ?...

Technically, yes. It all comes down to taste. The same can be said for booty. But this probably is not the place for such a conversation.

Get two controllers then solder wires from on of the existing mini joysticks to an extra one and stick it on the bottom or side of the controller so that it can clip onto a board or a thighstrap then you can use a controller in each hand. This would let you multibox it by playing two characters at the same time. I suppose if you had two mice with lots of buttons you could use them instead.

P.S I'm sure Alien Swarm was originally a UT2003 mod.

I was half right it was a UT2004 mod.

Another thing I have noticed is that Swat 1 & 2only goes to 35% discount on sales for being an old and, judging by the reviews, buggy game.

Hopefully they also do so. At that price I couldn't resist, but had no time yet to download and try them out.
