Two Guys From Andromeda Kickstarter project SpaceVenture has not yet reached its goal of 500k and time is running short. They still need 50k of pledges and they got 45 hours in the clock, so if you liked Space Quest and would like to see an another game made by the original creators of the series, now your change.

So if you feel like it visit the Kickstarter: tgakick.com

They're only 50k short in the last 48 hours, the end of funding period spike will likely get the over 600k by the deadline.
Yeah I would be really surprised if they actually didn't meet their funding goal. Pledges have a way of increasing in scales hours before the deadline is met.

I'm not sure it'll go over 600k (I'll bet you it wont haha), but they are most certainly looking up to a succesful funding anyways.
Where's Notch when we really need him ? :p

I'll tell you what, if it's not over 600k in the last twelve hours I'll pitch in 15USD. I think my 15 USD is safe though;)

Two busy drinking 500 dollar bottles or scotch? At least, that's what I'd be doing...

600k sounds pretty unrealistic. I think it'll go bit over 500k, but that's all.

You know the OGRE kickstarter added like 300,000 USD in the last 48 hours, right? These things have a way of getting posted all over (just as you're doing) in the last 48 hours and people on the fence swing by and pony up, it's actually pretty amazing. Also, occasionally they get a mention on Penny Arcade, and that seems worth between 50k and 150k worth of pledges all by themselves.

It helped Ogre a lot, that the tier where you actually got the game was 100 dollars. It has notably less backers than SpaceVenture.

Well, if you're selling a "huge box of stuff" you can't hand it out for 15 USD. OGRE is also kind of a bad example in retrospect, given the way SJG did his swag stuff, you donated extra to essentially buy extra tshirts and stuff, a lot of people came back last minute and some nearly doubled their pledges (but, really, how COULD I turn down a polo shirt with an OGRE embroidered on it???).

As someone who has been studying Kickstarter projects for several months now, I found OGRE to be a completely crazy project, but one that was fascinating to watch.

OGRE was fairly unique, even for KS projects. I have to say, I played OGRE growing up and that project and Steve's enthusiasm both pushed all the right buttons (not that I think he was operating a scam or anything). I hesitate to say how much I actually ended up pledging but it was higher than any other KS I've done.

Yeah, the average pledge was something like $72.50. Crazy high average for a gaming product.

Actually, it closed with an average of 167 USD (and change) per pledge. So it was even crazier than you thought:)
