I'm going to be seventeen in a few months. I found this site when I was thirteen because of a Gameinformer magazine article mentioning GOG and my interest in playing the original Fallout; I was a big fan of Fallout 3 back then.

My first purchased (I had Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games and the free games first) GOG game was Fallout, followed by Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 then Capitalism Plus and after that Stronghold 1 and Crusader (I played Crusader like crazy when I was around 14).

The first PC game I played was probably some random educational game (Elmo, and Winnie the Pooh themed games that teach something). I remember playing Lego Island and other late 90s and 2000s Lego PC games at quite a young age too.

tinyE: Does the U.K. have dangerous spiders?
Not really poisonous, but dangerous in that if I see one on the floor I will break my foot in order to get it. My house seems to have an infestation of monstrous ones this past year, ones so big you can hear them rustling around before seeing them. I swear one hissed at me.

dewtech: I'm 21, soon getting 22, been hanging around computers since '94 (was the first kid in my town to get one)
Many girls don't like games in my country, they think they're for kids, so I have to hide my powerlevel pretty often when women are around, fortunately the gf likes adventure games and I recently got her to play Dreamfall and Monkey Island

Don't really remember my first game I bought from here, was probably Arcanum or Heroes III
You can organize your GOG shelf games from the first game you purchased to the last.

I'm in the way north woods and we have big non poisonous ones too but we really do need them because of the flies during the summer so we do what we can to leave them alone, even if they hiss at us. :P

tinyE: We need to get off the whole married single thing or I'm going to slit my wrist, so how about 1st game?

By 1st game, I mean purchased, not played as in you were at an arcade or a friends house.
Mine was "Aztec" a real gem for the Apple\\ especially with it's inspiration (the Indiana Jones movies) still being big business when the game came out.
Ultima I for the Apple II+, back in the early 80s; along with a little-known SSI space sim called The Cosmic Balance.

Coelocanth: You and me both (except I'm married). I turn 49 in a couple months. My plan for world domination proceeds slowly...
Step one, as always: wait till tonight, Pinky. ;)
47, married, no kids (leaves a lot more time to play games).

Goatbrush: 29 and recently single, first time in a long while actually.

Bizarrely the first time I missed it (we didn't break up on good terms) was last night when yet another giant spider showed up, and I had noone to save me. I'm actually considering finding a new gf just so she can get spiders. I am a manly man.
To quote Dave Barry, I Swear I Am Not Making This Up:

I played for many years on a NWN server where one of the server's owners was absolutely terrified of spiders and insects (to the point where the server BBS was set to filter the word "bug" to "b*g"). One night we were on playing and one of the little creatures appeared in her room. I ended up making a long-distance call across the country to get her fiance to come home from work to take care of it. (She was too terrified to pass the creature to reach her phone.)

Oh, and to the OP, I have attained 42. Right now I am The Answer, for all you Douglas Adams fans.
I'm the youngest so far at 16 almost 17.
I just passed the guy above me as being youngest.
I'm 15, been going out with my girlfriend for about 6 months. Checked out GoG to see if they had Sacrifice, as it was one of the first games I played, I'm pretty sure that I'm in the minority here age-wise.

I couldn't stick it. When I see a spider my brain goes into meltdown and gets me into attack mode, I either attack and get it straight away with adrenaline or I spend the rest of the day/night cowering at the spider which is probably long gone.

Haha, it's so illogical but I can relate. I think I would have done the same thing if it was one of these monsters I've seen recently.
31 as of last month, single... not sure whether I like that fact, but I'm stuck with it for now. It doesn't help that I tend to be pretty shy at times and quite reclusive. I swear my mother fears I'll end up a hermit or something. Nah! Even I need occasional social interaction or I'll go nuts.
Turned 25 in February
