Tell me again guys... go on... just one more time... :P

Edit: Amazes me after all this time that people still don't have a sense of humour. *shakes head* There is no hope, none at all! You blew it all up!!!! Damn you!!!

Darth, darling, Bethesda hates having no DRM. But then, after all this bashing, embargo and hostility, as well as *most importantly* lost sales and lost profits, most probably made them sensible and made them reconsider. Not a bad thing, because now that they became sensible and want to do business, they will get my money.
Oh just admit you were wrong. The lot of you were, nothing wrong with admitting it! :D

Bethesda took a long time with its negotiations. Let me just say that it's not a recent decision to come to GOG, so recent controversies had nothing to do with that decision.

Aww I'm going to miss typing that lol.
First I want to see some games that previously had DRM released here. Then I'll change my mind.
So far, all the released games have already had a DRM-free version, and not selling them here would have just been a commercial nonsense.

Edit- I'll give you this, though: they are not as unreasonable as I thought, so who knows.

People sometimes do things they don't like, because reasons. Whether Bethesda loves DRM and felt forced to release DRM free here, or hates DRM yet felt forced to patch it into Skyrim post-release, is anybody's guess.

For what it's worth, I did not expect them to do this, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'll admit that I was wrong, but I'll be even more wrong if they ever bring a Steam-born title to GOG. Right now, all of these releases were pre-Steam retail games. They didn't really have what passes for DRM today, other than disc checks (if that). That said, I've never been so thrilled at being wrong... Good job GOG!

To be honest the hints were out there. It was just a matter of patience... and a lot of winding up on my part. :D

*hugs* that is the spirit. It's a good day to be a Gogite!

You do care about this way more than I do, so it may be. All I know is that I got an unexpected surprise today, and hope that Bethesda releases will keep coming. I really want a copy of Dishonored DRM-free and a non-steam exclusive sequel for it.

It is a great sight indeed. More love for Doom is something I will always like to see. Hopefully it means we can get non screwy versions of Fallout 3/Doom3 etc. Hopefully.

Well, lets look at it, Morrowind I already have on DRM free discs. The previous two are free, or available. Doom and that section is not Bethseda although I assume from this they own the IP now. Same for the fallout set, they only own the IP, Their standpoint hasn't changed, they just want to get some money from old IP theey own which is mainly already out there.

That said I am pleased to see all these here, certainly if you don't own them already its great. I will probably pick up a few of them, battlespire is one I never got to play, so looking forward to that.

Don't be so negative haha. It's only a start, more will come. Optimism is a good thing. :D
