Seems like fantastic win to me, tho trailers can be deceiving and I'm sometimes easily pleased by this sort of thing. Love the gothic fairytale feel, love the opening lines from Charlize Theron as the Queen.

The Wikipedia entry is basic, not much info. Anyone know a little more?

I might actually be paying to see a film with Kristen Stewart in theaters this summer. ;-)

sorry but i just can not stand kristen stewart. shes got such an utterly wooden lifeless face, i just cant imagine anything more draining than watching her on screen. dont get me wrong, if it'd been ANYONE else, i might have seen it.. but her... ugh.. i actually feel myself getting depressed just picturing her face :(

About Mirror, Mirror (mentioned above):
- Director Tarsem Singh's previous work, Immortals, looks awful.
- I'm not particularly impressed by that image of Lily Collins as Snow White.
- Julia Roberts... Hmm... No.

So far, I favor Snow White and the Huntsman as the better prospect of the two.

No kidding. I saw the trailer for it in a movie theater a couple of weeks ago, and thought it looked like a bad rip-off of Clash Of The Titans. And that movie sucked sweaty donkey balls to begin with. Definitely not one I'm going to watch.

Immortals is getting all around good reviews as a gonzo action flick. Anyone who wanted an actual story will be disappointed, apparently. But I didn't go see 300 for its story and I probably won't see Immortals for its story either.

As for Stewart, I recognized her even though I haven't seen those (I assume to be) awful movies. She's young, she might turn into a good actress, but she's not now and clearly there to draw in a certain segment of the market to the movie. I can think of at least two actresses I'd have picked for this role: Zooey Deschanel and Christina Ricci, both have the dark hair and piercing eyes to pull this one off, and their acting isn't so unfortunate as to not be capable of the role.

Damn. Kristen Stewart 'fairer' than Charlize? LOL. No matter, I'll go see anything with Charlize Theron in it.

don't forget it's a naked Charlize Theron being dipped in what looks like white chocolate...
