It's been a little while since I did a giveaway, so just thought I'd throw out a quick and easy one. :)

Up for grabs is one code with Divine Divinty and Beyond Divinity. Some nice little RPG goodness for you.

Simple rules:

3) Winner is to redeem games - no trading or re-gifting for this giveaway. (This is not always the case for my giveaways, but I'd like to get these directly to someone who will enjoy them!)
4) The latest Divinity game comes with talking underpants as a DLC item. Other RPGs have recently come with talking medallians and glow-in-the-dark pigs as pre-order or DLC items. Describe one silly item you would have as a DLC item for your RPG. How much would you charge people for the upgrade?

Not in for the games, but if I could get a custom silly item in an RPG, it would be something to summon Cespenar, the imp "helper" from your demiplane in the Throne of Bhaal expansion for Baldur's Gate 2. I love that little guy.

Runners up for me would be the kobold helper (not Deekin) from NWN HotU, Deekin, Minsc, HK47, or for a more mature game, Tina from Borderlands 2. [url= She'd be a tougher sell though. YOu have to ahve the right kind of game. She might only be awesome in the Borderlands context; I think the others would just be awesome pretty much in any story-driven RPG][/url] Those are all some memorable silly characters who could add flavor to a game without, I think, stealing the show or requiring a great investment of effort.

I'm in, thanks! As for the DLC, I'd include (for say $1 or so) a gold, jewel-encrusted magic chalice with the sole purpose of drinking beverages.

A silly item for a DLC? Make it a pacifist sword who comments on your actions ans complains every time you kill someone (basically a not-so-bloodthirsty version of Enserric from Neverwinter Nights' addon). I'm greedy so I'd charge for it twice as much as all the Witcher 2 DLCs cost. :-)

I would design a sniper scope that would give you a little bit more accuracy and could be equipped on any....sword. Or, maybe a bayonet you could add to a sword to give you more reach, but it would be a small bayonet about the size of a pocket knife.

As for a charge, how could you put a cost on priceless? ;-P

As for the DLC, since you mentioned underpants and to keep the same theme, how about some special underpants that when you do something dumb on the game it gives you a wedgie, that way you learn faster, hehe

Im not in (obviously) but they are great games Beyond had a bad rep, but it is much better now it's patched, a very under-rated game I think.
