We’d like to inform you that, on publisher's request, Skylar & Plux: Adventure On Clover Island will be delisted from our catalog tomorrow, August 4th, 1 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased the title prior to delisting, it will remain in their GOG library.

Looks like this has been brewing for a while. Game unceremoniously pulled from Steam.
The publisher, Grip Digital is (as of early June) undergoing some odd changes.

https://twitter.com/Grip_Digital/status/1278635421954703362
"Hi everyone, sorry again for a silence here. There was a crucial change in Grip's structures and business vision and due to this we honestly have lost our access to the Twitter accounts. Sounds silly but sometimes the simplest explanation is the fact :)"

https://twitter.com/Grip_Digital/status/1278637907197247494
"Due to this, we also will be no longer able to support our old titles. We appreciate all of our fans and customers but the vision and business strategy has slightly shifted. Our teams and businesses grows and we need a new space to breath. We will inform you soon :)"

Reeks of Desura.
Seems Mothergunship is currently safe on the platforms its on but then Grip is merely listed as a co-developer (money input i would guess), and Joe is usually rather independant.

Edit: their website is now a "coming soon" and "hiring" holding page.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Great news, given that it has Steam Achievements but no Galaxy Achievements.
Stop with your $*%&$#%)(^*U$%)(^T*$%()T^T*&#$%)(* bullshit about your digital-penis-size-sharing-system ("achievements") nonsense. It's actually disgusting that you'd rather a game not exist than for it to exist without your 'precious' crap systems. [And, as a reminder: lack of achievements polluting your game play is a perk, making the GOG version even more valuable in addition to DRM-freeness. That makes GOG the 'premier class' location.]
My assumption was it was delisting because of poor sales, but that's not the case

Although I dislike achievements and don't think they should be added to games, I won't fault someone for liking or wanting them. However, I think you'd have to be pretty *&#^@* *@#^!& to refuse to play a game just because it doesn't have achievements.
I really hope this will come back under a publisher who cares more about the game.

karnak1: Why isn't this thread a "sticky", like the previous ones?
Well in previous delisting threads that were stickied people were complaining that since they were stickied they didn't see them....... and I'm being serious about that. Of course it's stickied now so......

So the publisher went "belly up" and cut ties to EVERYTHING in the past, so they cannot be hold resposible for "older stuff" now.

I suppose, they left PC or console gaming completely and will restart their complete way of work.

Hard reaction, but a quite correct one. I suppose those game developers will now be able to publish their games on their own now.

Good Old GOG... Damned if you do; damned if you don't.
I hope GOG staff has some sort of insurance policy concerning mental health/breakdowns. They probably need it.
Somehow i didn't notice it yesterday this thread and now it's gone already.
It wasn't stickied right away?
Also don't know the game at all gonna check some videos to see what it even was.

Well since those tweets are from over a year ago, whatever's happening is happening slowly.

It's probably not unrelated, but it's not the quick "rug out from under the feet" of Desura's downfall.
My opinion is that this is nice jumpy kid friendly game, but haven't played very far into the plot. I would rather play A Hat in Time than this. Also, this in reality only has one protagonist, Skylar.

edit: sorry, I just noticed the thread is three days old. Just saw this. Good thing I purchased this a way back.

I have just seen this, good thing I had no interest in the game.
