Hi!

There's a mission called "Kill the bandits at car park" and takes place at the very begging of the game, after you talk to Wolf.

I went down there by my self and after I kill everyone and rescue Nimble, the Nimble's objetive (Get a flashdrive) is clear out, but the "Kill the Bandits" don't! And if I get far away enough and then return, 4 bandits respawn and the left house, I kill them, but nothing. I have repeat this like 5 times and still, the mission does not go away!

To be clear, I get the flash drive from Nimble so I can go tru the game, but is annoy that I can't get ride of this side mission.
Get use to it. The entire game is an abomination! :P

But I was having some fun D:

You will need to go back to Wolf and speak with him to end the quest I believe, or maybe even the guy in the basement. Walking away from somewhere and then back quite often brings people or animals into the area. They wander and spawn all over the place, and important people can end up dead no matter how hard you try at times.

Although the STALKER games are great they do have their fair share of bugs and hiccups. They also lack serious direction at times too. But the experience is really fun anyway.

I enjoyed the basic gameplay too but bugs, endless bugs. You'd think it was an Obsidian game with the way it plays!

(btw why is the smiley upsides down?)

I did talk to Wolf and he can gave me other missions, but this one can't end as the game believe I haven't clean of bandits the car park.
When I talk to the guy in the basement, he gave me other mission to move on the main history.
Also, now I can't talk to him because the door is locked and the option to open it does not appear :/

Why I am facing so many bugs in so little time?

This
I remember that the beginning of the game was quite buggy, even after several patches. The most annoying one was the one where enemies, in some areas, stayed alert even after you loaded a previous save when they were still supposed to be in a non-alert state.
However, from about 1/3 into the game things started to smooth out and bugs started to become a rare occurrence. If those bugs had persisted then I don't know whether I would've had the patience to finish the game. I'm glad that I did, because I ended up loving the rest of the game. Definitely in my personal top5 as far as fps games go.

Lucky you lol. I had to suffer through the game engines crash through out my entire play through. urgh.

Run mods. If its STALKER, it'll have mods.

Outstanding atmosphere, fun gameplay, beautiful graphics, about as stable as a jug of milk balanced on the pinky finger of an inebriated marsupial running a marathon up a hill. Yep, that's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Indeed.

See if you can install the ZRP mod (Zone Reclamation Project), it mostly fixes bugs without altering the core gameplay too much.

That's a pity, there really is a great gaming underneath it all I think. When did you do the play through though? I should mention that I did temporarily quit the game due to the bugs, but that was in 2007 when the game was still young. I think I tried again after a couple of patches and again gave up due to that infernal save game bug. My first actual playthrough was at least 2/3 years after that, by which time several patches had been released.
Does anyone knows if the Galaxy version may be the cause of the bugs?

I downloaded the GOG stand alone installer, then decided to import it into Galaxy. It downloaded the full localization files (languages), update some files and when I try to launch the game, the fsgame.ltx was corrupted because every line were there 2 times each. I try the "FIX" option in Galaxy and it says the game was ok, so I delete all the clone lines and the game started fine! But now I doubt of Galaxy capabilities to know whenever the game files are ok or not :(

Also, this game have a command line; how can I end the annoy mission? I remember Skyrim have the proper options to do it when some mission glitched out.

EDIT: I am looking a mod called "sidorovich_unlocked.zip" in order to talk again to Sidorovich because his doow now can't be opened, but can't find a valid link to download it. Does anyone here have it?
