Seven Dragon Saga allows the player to create and customize a full party of adventurers and maneuver them in detailed, turn-based tactical combat. You won’t find any rat-hunting farmers here- characters begin with a suite of talents. Rather, the characters are ‘Touched by the winds of chaos’, and destined for great successes or spectacular demises. Explore a rich world, uncover lost treasures, deal with challenging social and political situations.

The player’s choices alter the world in meaningful ways, both physically and socially. Sent by the Empire of the Seven Dragons to the minor Kingdom of Afelon, the party must uncover who is driving the land to civil war and whether that conspiracy might pose a threat to the Empire at large. What mysteries lie in the surrounding, monster-infested peaks? Who is worthy of trust and who only of death?

Looks great ! Can't wait :)

Don't forget to post your own wishlist entry :

Doesn't look bad, I'll follow it and see how the updates go.

Semi-OT question, do we know what happens with the rights to SSI games? I assume since WotC controls the DnD franchise they own part of it.
Thanks for the heads up. I love SSI games! Looking very much forward to this. I have alot of great memories of the gold box games back in the day even though they were difficult and could never finish Pool of Radiance as a kid. I still loved the game, heh.

I will definitely be backing this even if its at the lowest DRM free tier depending what I can spare.

Ah, the important part of backing the game:

"DRM-free digital copy of the game"

Even better when they list GOG.com as a place to get it too.

That's the way to go!
Sadly, I've got no more funds for Kickstarter games...but I'll be observing this one and will probably buy it when it comes to GOG!!
First update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/537511454/seven-dragon-saga-by-tactical-simulations-interact/posts/1163015

Launch day is becoming launch night and we could not be more thankful for this tremendous show of support. What you all have demonstrated is a clear demand for quality, fun experiences and with your help that's exactly what we'll deliver for Seven Dragon Saga!

We've received some excellent questions over the last few hours and here are our answers to some of the most common questions thus far-

Yes: we plan to add support for other languages, the exact mix is still under discussion, so we’ll be monitoring the backers to see where demand is greatest.

Yes: We plan to release the game for PC/Mac/Linux (Steam and DRM free)

Pricing. A few people inquired about our decision to price the game for $25, which is tied to the larger number of hours of gameplay we plan to deliver! Much like the Gold Box games of yore.

Though we accomplished a great deal today, the Kickstarter marathon has just begun. So we ask that you continue to share this project with your friends and colleagues, send us questions and post your feedback. With all of that and your support, we're sure to create a role-playing adventure you will love to play.

Over the next weeks we will be providing a steady stream of design explanations. We allude to many design choices on our page, but the limited space prevents us from fleshing out the details. Keep letting us know what features excite you the most, or that you’d like more information on.

Sincerely, - The TSI Team
Coming to GOG? Hell yah.

Aldo, I forgot to back Shadowrun Hong Kong. Damn.
Some of the tiers seem... weird. Or maybe I'm just not understanding them correctly. This is a throwback to the SSI Gold Box games, right? As such, can we agree that the journal and code wheel are actually part of the game, even though they are outside the game? And yet neither the $65 or the $90 tier contains the code wheel, neither digitally nor physically.
Looks interesting. Will definitely be keeping an eye on this.

Well you still have a chance , make haste for the deadline is [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/webeharebrained/shadowrun-hong-kong]13 March that is tomorrow
Dunno. "create and customize a full party of adventurers" makes me think dungeon crawler, and dungeon crawlers are not my thing. And while "The player’s choices alter the world in meaningful ways" sounds great, it also sounds a bit Molineux-y.

I'll have to look into it more, when I have the time, but so far not sold.

im sure all tiers including and above $40 have the codewheel at least digitally. yeah i think im not sure about the journal and codewheel as game mechanics. im confused abt tht. they look essential but are somehow not part of the $25 tier.
Sounds great, but I have to wonder where the "player choices" and "social situations" stuff comes from, sounds a bit Biowarean to me. About the only choices you made in Goldbox games was whether to kill that goblin with an arrow or a magic missile, and the only social situation buying and selling stuff at a shop.

Especially seeing as this KS as much as I wish it well probably won't be get millions like InXile or Obsidian did, so sticking with a more traditional dungeon-crawler and being focused on that could keep costs lower.
