It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all). We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera
DieRuhe: Ohh... I thought we were all becoming one.
Universal joining remains an option, but the Master hasn't quite reached a consensus yet. Can't you hear the voices? "Join ... Die! ... Join ... Die!" ... ;)
Elenarie: But, more importantly, "Registered: April 2007"? Is that another hack that you guys use to fool us around, or did the development of GOG start around that time?
Since you've asked, here's the fun fact: officially the process of designing and developing GOG.com started on April 2, 2007. I remember this day very well because I was very lucky to be the first employee actually working on it :):):). Obviously forums didn't exist at this time, so all the employees who joined the company prior to them had their accounts set up "artificially" and so their "Registered" date became their starting dates.

The bug some of you were experiencing is related to the caching solution that we're currently testing and tweaking. Apparently for some users it was delivering a wrong (old) html of a publicly available page (one that's the same for everyone). In the worst case it meant that you might see a random avatar and a wrong cart on top, but there are no user details there and you cannot make any changes to it either as it's a cached thing (think read only).
More importantly, all your personal data and content (your games, PM's, order details) is safe here, as it is always delivered over a secure connection and is also NOT cached, therefore nobody can see your games or messages because of the bug outlined above.
Last but not least, for the time being, the caching solution will be taken down, until we can nail the issue.
Most importantly, I think I speak for us all to say - Thanks for getting out of bed to deal with this (not that I know that you were 'in bed'). It was the right course of action for GOG to take, and we appreciate it.
Wishbone: Kind of odd to see a GOG employee, registered in 2009, still having the "New User" title ;-)
It's not much different than all those forumites, who despite having registered in 2008, still have "New User" under their avatars. Some people don't bother with titles :P

True. It's just that you'd expect GOG employees to use all the functions they themselves have decided should be present on the forum.

Well, if you are working with Destro (2007!) you might always feel like a New User :P
