CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference live (right here! We'll embed it below!) on the 30th May 2012 at 5:00 PM GMT.

We know that he who does not collect in summer, will heat little in winter and because we care for our users, you can prepare yourselves for wonderful harvest after the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference next Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT. It is true that one swallow does not make a summer, that is why first you will hear some earth-shattering news from our friends from CDP RED and around 40 minutes later (that’s around 5.40 GMT!), TheEnigmaticT will tell you about GOG.com’s upcoming plans and release a number of fantastic games live at the show. We know that the summer that yields lots of pumpkins and horseradish doesn't fill the larder, that is why you can expect some old, some classic, and some brand new releases that will definitely heat up the first days of June.

Winter will ask you what you did during the summer, so make sure to tune in next wednesday May 30th at 5:00 PM GMT to watch us during the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference in this very newspost. Summer night is not very long but it rocks many cradles. You simply don’t want to miss it.

It may take a while for the video to buffer below, you but you can check out the stream here on Ustream if you missed it. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/22959397 Our part starts about 30 minutes in. Thanks for watching!

We’re out of obscure Polish proverbs about Summer, but feel free to make up your own in the comments below. ;)
Really looking forward to seeing more in future on that new cyberpunk RPG. And congrats to CD Projekt on the sales of Witcher 2. Great to see the game doing well.

Must admit I was a bit disappointed with the GOG.com announcements - I'm already getting Resonance - but the slow jam made up for it. :P
Cyberpunk 2020: Hell, yes...!
I like Shadowrun, but there's one thing, I never liked - the magic stuff.

This is pure Cyberpunk - and so it should be.

SPREAD THE NEWS XD
The Stream lagged all the time for me, so I managed to get around a third of what the people were saying
Nice conference GOG but you should really do sth with this streaming.
Hoped for another bunch of EA titles (a word on expansion packs) but...nevermind.
Thumbs up for Tomb Raider & Colonization..

Bloodygoodgames: Plus, with the 15-years plus I have in PR, I can tell you now you don't have a conference like the last one and give away a free game and then do no giveaway at all for the next one. It gets people's hopes up so much and then........ a big letdown.
You mean you expect another free game this time? No, this isn't first or second time CD Projekt hold a conference. They have done this many time, with and without free games.
Great conference and new releases. I now wait to watch Nintendo's.
Ok, two remarks:

- Cyberpunk? Fuck yeah! CDPR is probably the only AAA dev left in the world that can treat this mature, gritty and smart genre right. Everyone else went infantile.
- They need to employ some conference choreographer guy to make it all more exciting. Maturity-wise Blizzard is the direct opposite of CDPR but, sadly, so are their conferences :))

Seems like it lagged everywhere. For me, it was changing quality until i locked it to 240p to stop it form doing it. (Just for the record, I have 10mbps internet, I can watch full HD real-time) Looks like that they didn't expect that many people watching.

Don't worry, last time they had the video posted within 30 minutes of the conference ending so you should be able to catch up on what you missed soon (and I think you did better than I did - I saw maybe 5 minutes as the stream kept switching back to 'Best' quality which is unwatchable where I am ).

I didn't say it was the first or second time they'd done a conference - I said as someone who know how to do PR for a company, you never have a giveaway one time and then don't follow it up with at least something small the next time. Any PR professional who knows their stuff knows that.

And before you jump on me again, I said what I said as I love GOG and like to see them succeed. It pains me to see a less-than-stellar conference when they could have had more of an impact.

Think about it - they just announced they had 1.2 million hits on GOG when they gave away Fallout. That's a HUGE advertising coup for them and potentially pulled in a lot of new GOG buyers. It also put them on the list of the most-visited websites that day. You can't buy that kind of advertising.

This time? They certainly won't get that kind of reaction so, yes, the conference was a lost opportunity. A shame.

BTW, nice to see you're in Malaysia - my second favorite country in the world. Get there at least four times a year :)
