CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference live (right here! We'll embed it below!) on the 30th May 2012 at 5:00 PM GMT.

We know that he who does not collect in summer, will heat little in winter and because we care for our users, you can prepare yourselves for wonderful harvest after the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference next Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT. It is true that one swallow does not make a summer, that is why first you will hear some earth-shattering news from our friends from CDP RED and around 40 minutes later (that’s around 5.40 GMT!), TheEnigmaticT will tell you about GOG.com’s upcoming plans and release a number of fantastic games live at the show. We know that the summer that yields lots of pumpkins and horseradish doesn't fill the larder, that is why you can expect some old, some classic, and some brand new releases that will definitely heat up the first days of June.

Winter will ask you what you did during the summer, so make sure to tune in next wednesday May 30th at 5:00 PM GMT to watch us during the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference in this very newspost. Summer night is not very long but it rocks many cradles. You simply don’t want to miss it.

It may take a while for the video to buffer below, you but you can check out the stream here on Ustream if you missed it. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/22959397 Our part starts about 30 minutes in. Thanks for watching!

We’re out of obscure Polish proverbs about Summer, but feel free to make up your own in the comments below. ;)
That Cyberpunk game and the other two AAA titles they're working on, I think I remember release year was either 2013 or 2014, is that right?
Sadly, the Stream worked horribly for me, witch is weird, since the Spring Conference had no problems at all like that.

Hopefully it will be on Youtube soon, I didn't get most things.
great conference, loved it (though not as much as trevor loves developers, lol ;))

yyywww111: Anyone else kinda disappointed?

Smannesman: Somebody always asks that after one of these, but if you've seen more than one of them you know not to get your hopes up because they're never as good as the hype.
Still a Cyberpunky game by the Witcher devs is nice.
Well, last time they gave everyone a game, allowed people to review the game in advance etc. It was pretty Witcher 2 focused but getting newer games on GoG was neat as well

This time it felt like they didn't really have anything bar-Slow Jam. Unless you were really hoping for TW2 on Mac, not much happened
Plus, with the 15-years plus I have in PR, I can tell you now you don't have a conference like the last one and give away a free game and then do no giveaway at all for the next one. It gets people's hopes up so much and then........ a big letdown.

Starmaker: - Tomb Raider bundle
Awesome, I called Tomb Raider and am very eager to play it. I hope the Eidos titles keep coming fast.

Starmaker: New CDProjekt game: Cyberpunk, expect everything that was awesome about Witcher (except Geralt himself, obviously): mature, nonlinear, also: character classes, tons of items. Mike Pondsmith (creator of Cyberpunk TTRPG) made an appearance onstage.
OMG BEST NEWS EVER.

Seriously, cyberpunk is my favorite genre and it is criminally underrepresented. To know an RPG in that genre is coming from CDP of all developers is fucking glorious.

louiedog: Sorry, what was that email address for devs? My stream was choppy and I couldn't catch it all.

IronStar: welovedevs@gog.com
Thanks!
Haha, T's jam was the best part of whole conference.

I think a majority of conference's topics didn't have to be announced live but I'm happy to see that GOG is doing better and better every day :).

Cyberpunk project looks interesting. RPGs need less fantasy and more different genres. I'll keep an eye on that one but after playing both Witchers which I found sort of dissatisfying, I'll wait for reviews. I'll keep fingers crossed for grow-up characters!
Anyway, good luck with the new project, CDPR. Nice move.

Austrobogulator: "Exclusive"

In before indie bundle on the day of release...
I bet everyone as much as they want this won't happen. I will send the winnings to the dev. Any takers?
The good news : Miaghstir owes me the Tomb Raider bundle .

Please just die :-)

ne_zavarj: System Shock 2 ?
avatar
DProject: That's what caught my eye too.
The Playtester named all the towns after games, you can spot Wasteland and Diablo as well. Since Blizzard will never release Diablo from its iron grip, I wouldn't take this as a sign...

But I was excited for a moment as well...

DProject: Did everyone check the Colonization screenshots yet? There's some interesting texts in there, especially in the 3rd pic.
Naming things System Shock 2, Wasteland, and Diablo are just mean. :)
The conference was interesting, although I must admit that I'm not a fan of "cyberpunk", I was expecting a sci-fi theme similar to Mass Effect or StarGate SG-1/Atlanatis.

The "CDPR Thank You" video was great though! You guys are amazing developers. I think Marcin is a good speaker, but the crowd appeared to be tough. Anyways, I would love to see the Age of Empires series and older Total War games on GOG eventually!
