CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference live (right here! We'll embed it below!) on the 30th May 2012 at 5:00 PM GMT.

We know that he who does not collect in summer, will heat little in winter and because we care for our users, you can prepare yourselves for wonderful harvest after the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference next Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT. It is true that one swallow does not make a summer, that is why first you will hear some earth-shattering news from our friends from CDP RED and around 40 minutes later (that’s around 5.40 GMT!), TheEnigmaticT will tell you about GOG.com’s upcoming plans and release a number of fantastic games live at the show. We know that the summer that yields lots of pumpkins and horseradish doesn't fill the larder, that is why you can expect some old, some classic, and some brand new releases that will definitely heat up the first days of June.

Winter will ask you what you did during the summer, so make sure to tune in next wednesday May 30th at 5:00 PM GMT to watch us during the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference in this very newspost. Summer night is not very long but it rocks many cradles. You simply don’t want to miss it.

It may take a while for the video to buffer below, you but you can check out the stream here on Ustream if you missed it. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/22959397 Our part starts about 30 minutes in. Thanks for watching!

We’re out of obscure Polish proverbs about Summer, but feel free to make up your own in the comments below. ;)

Vitek: Sorry, but if something was certain before the conference started then it was the fact that you will be disappointed.

ne_zavarj: As i wrote I was expecting something bigger announcement , new publisher , more old games not an overpriced indie crap . ( Retro City Rampage )
Let's be honest, you have not played this game, so you have no idea if it's crap.

Vitek: You are certainly not the only one but you are the most prominent one.
The forum needs pessimists too . :)
Can someone please type a list of the main things announced/talked about in this stream?

Likewise. In fact i was waiting big publisher like Lucas Arts, Blizzard, 2K(Bioshock anyone?) coming, a lot of old games, a lot of new games etc. But we got that *seemingly indie crap*, damn it.

Why were you expecting all of that? For GOG's biggest announcements (like new publishers), they've used their own marketing, not piggybacking off of a general CDP press release.
I think Marcin drank too much coffee before conference :D
Cyberpunk: The Game I read up about it and with a grim dark future, with little to no hope...Looking forward to it and how I chose my name based on the genere.

Ask the bank that owns half the rights.
I wonder how they are doing a native version of The Witcher 2 - DirectX doesn't work with Macs, so I guess they are rebuilding the engine in OpenGL? Wow that's a lot of work. Or is there a way (beyond Wine or emulation) of getting DirectX working?
Colonization is good news, I spent a lot of time on that game in my younger years.

CDPRed making a cyberpunk game is also awesome.

Tiny and Big looks cool, I won't lie. The other indie title, not my thing, really. I missed the pre-PC/console gaming phase.
Looking forward to new Cyberpunk title (you guys left me all hooked up, seriously, good job) and Witcher 3.

Also, the Jamming was wonderful! :D
