CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference live (right here! We'll embed it below!) on the 30th May 2012 at 5:00 PM GMT.

We know that he who does not collect in summer, will heat little in winter and because we care for our users, you can prepare yourselves for wonderful harvest after the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference next Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT. It is true that one swallow does not make a summer, that is why first you will hear some earth-shattering news from our friends from CDP RED and around 40 minutes later (that’s around 5.40 GMT!), TheEnigmaticT will tell you about GOG.com’s upcoming plans and release a number of fantastic games live at the show. We know that the summer that yields lots of pumpkins and horseradish doesn't fill the larder, that is why you can expect some old, some classic, and some brand new releases that will definitely heat up the first days of June.

Winter will ask you what you did during the summer, so make sure to tune in next wednesday May 30th at 5:00 PM GMT to watch us during the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference in this very newspost. Summer night is not very long but it rocks many cradles. You simply don’t want to miss it.

It may take a while for the video to buffer below, you but you can check out the stream here on Ustream if you missed it. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/22959397 Our part starts about 30 minutes in. Thanks for watching!

We’re out of obscure Polish proverbs about Summer, but feel free to make up your own in the comments below. ;)
And back to awkward lanky non-native English speaking guy.
And it's over

But see girls find that sexy (I should know I am one :)
Colonization is awesome, but other than that, GOG.com part wasn't interesting at all.

Cyberpunk thing on the other hand, I can't wait for this baby.

EverettLamb: The stream views went up due to that :P
He will soon become part of the history of youtube .
So, The Witcher 2 Sold 40000 copies, well that´s funny because it gives us a reference related to all the games situated above on the list.
Did everyone check the Colonization screenshots yet? There's some interesting texts in there, especially in the 3rd pic.

kodeen: I would assume that you can, surely the save files are in the same format.

Smannesman: Yeah it's probably another AGS game.
AGS doesn't have save compatibility for different versions of the same game. (When they updated their games on Steam everyone lost their saved data).

Yeah, I was honestly surprised that I found the CDPR announcements more interesting than the GOG ones. Good conference all around though.
Great press conference! Great games! Great folks!

My rating: AAA+

Well done CDP and GOG! Now hurry with that Cyberpunk game! I want a trailer and kickstarter for that! Snappy, snappy, snappy! :-D
That was fairly disappointing compared to last year for GOG announcements. I missed the CDP half, I'll have to check that out later.

Nice to have Tomb Raider and Colonization though.

obligatory recap

GOG news
New old games (duh):
- Colonization
- Tomb Raider bundle

New new games to preorder:
- Retro City Rampage (watch a hilarious retro-styled commercial)
- Tiny and Big
- Resonance (preorder it right now, it's made of win and awesome) - also, way to show spoilers in the trailer
Preview of Resonance now included in preorder goodies (waaaait how come it's 440MB O.o).
HUGE EDIT: you can buy a boxed version at WadjetEye and get a GOG code from them. (email announcement)

Witcher news
Witcher 1 backup copy (same deal as with Witcher 2, this is not an extra copy)
Witcher 2 at -40% for a week.
Witcher 2 for Mac (native version) coming this fall.

Cyberpunk
New CDProjekt game: Cyberpunk, expect everything that was awesome about Witcher (except Geralt himself, obviously): mature, nonlinear, also: character classes, tons of items. Mike Pondsmith (creator of Cyberpunk TTRPG) made an appearance onstage.

Edit:
CDP Red is hiring devs of various specialties to work on Cyberpunk and TW3. Foreigners allowed, but you should be willing to move to Warsaw (assistance and ‘Relocation Package’ included).
GOG loves devs too; if you're a dev, send messages of reciprocation and business offers to welovedevs@gog.com

I hope this Cyberpunk game won't be on rails. We need an open world, but no level-scaling please...
Nice presentation.

System Shock 2 ?
Would've been nice to have some actual news imho, the cyberpunk thing was pretty much confirmed and no real info was given (Other than it being based on a P&P RPG system). GoG.com bit was a few ads and two games now being placed on the website with a nice slow-jam at the end.

Anyone else kinda disappointed?
