Momo1991: Hey, I am trying to accommodate a lot of people here so let me make this absolutely clear;
If you signed up to be an Early Secret Santa, then don't buy yourself anything from your own list or you risk having your Secret Santa buy you the same game. If you want to add more games to your list, go right ahead - maybe your Early Secret Santa has not shopped for you yet...
AND after December 14th, when ALL the wishlists are sent out, the EXACT same thing applies - you probably should not buy yourself something from your wishlist but you can always add wishes to it.
Yep! It's also always a good idea to have two completely separate wishlists for the holidays. One wishlist for Secret Santa and one wishlist for friends/family. This prevents any sad feelings due to gift refusal because of receiving multiple gifts of the same game. Additionally, despite whatever amazing sales occur, you should not buy anything on either wishlist for yourself until after receiving all of your gifts, as otherwise you risk making the giver of the gift very sad. And sad givers make dragons and pandas cry. You don't want crying dragon-pandas (dragandas?) do you?! Please remember, GOG holds a End of the Year/New Year's sale so if there's something you really, really wanted and didn't receive during the festivities you have good odds it will be on sale again in a very short time.
