Hey GoGers (or how are we called? I'm new :P)
since it's sale time I wanted to ask you if there is any good Tactical RPG around GoG as I'd like to develop one in the near future and want to try as many things as possible. With TRPGs I mean games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea and Fire Emblem. The key feature is that combat should turn-based on a map.

I have already played XCOM, The Banner Saga, Shadowrun and King's Bounty :-)

The Eschalon series
The Avadon games
The Shadowrun games

If you liked XCOM then check out Xenonauts.

Then there is also Blackguards 1 and 2. Agarest - Generations of War and Agarest Zero also fall into this category.

Try Silent Storm. If you liked Banner Saga and XCOM you'll enjoy it.

If you want a realy good turn-base strategy you have must tried Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Telepath Tactics is right in your alley for Fire Emblem like games.

You could also try Gorky 17 (horror tactical rpg), or some tacical games : age of wonders (the first has a great rpg feel to it), etherlords series, disciples series and eador series.

Thanks for all the suggestions already, didn't expect them coming in that fast :D
Already played around half of the suggested games but didn't remember them so I'll refresh my memory in the future :-)

I'd like to hear more of TPRGs with interesting mechanics and so forth. In this sense Disgaea is the one that resonates the most as it really has quite interesting mechanics with Geo Panels and stuff. If you could suggest games and also write what makes them "unique" or worth playing it would be great! I'm not focusing so much on the story or graphics but more on the gameplay itself :-)
