Did you really have to delist and instead bundle Sacred 2 Gold with the Remaster, THQ Nordic?
Not cool.
So is this missing multiplayer?

Not defending them but atleast they bundled it and its only base price like 6 or so USD more then the old version was going for . So its not bad compared to other bundled with the new version price matters

Another game Preserved behind a higher price point than it should be!

Just because a classic game is remastered doesn't necessarily mean it's a good remaster.
I've only got myself to blame not getting the original before the remaster came. Somehow I always hesitated.
Yeah so from what I read, this one is pretty.....meh. I guess I'll pass. I still gots my CDs. Kinda as with felt 95% of the remasters lol.

Rule of thumb. Expect the original to be gone when a remaster comes out. :(

No loyalty discount for the owners of the original and no achievements? What's even the point of this then?

But at least they preserved the Blind Guardian content, so there's that at least.

Invite only.

From top Steam reviews:

No Free Play so YOU CANT FARM BOSSES, only kill them once.
No Multiplayer Lobby (invite only)
No Offline Multiplayer (LAN Mode)
No Trade Menu
Cannot Move While Inventory open
No Rune Stacking
No PvP options.
Inventory Icons look awful
Less inventory space
Less skill slots
Less weapon slots
Only 2 relic sets instead of 4

Add to that crashes, completely removed PhysX elements, consolified shitty UI and camera controls along with tons of unfixed bugs that community mods have fixed ages ago to complete the package. There are also some complaints about unrebindable/removed controls and stupidly changed controller layouts compared to the original console version.

As it is, nobody should buy this until it receives some heavy patching. And of course, the original has been bundled under the remaster with no way of buying it separately anymore, which is another con.

Not gone but hidden/locked behind a paywall in form of a (as of yet subpar) remaster.
Here's hoping they fix it into an acceptable if not decent state, thus making the bitter pill a bit easier to swallow.

GOG obviously has to comply but right now it's not very customer-friendly if you have to pick up the bundle just to get access to Sacred 2 Gold.
From what I'm reading from the release yesterday on the platform-that-shall-not-be-named (yesterday "mostly negative", today "mixed), there are real issues, and from the tone of the reviews they are not ragers simply hating remasters so you'd better wait before buying to see more private and professional reviews.
Hey o/

Where are the other languages? Right now the game seems to be only in English. And no achievements? That would be really, really disappointing.

You did well by writing "should" as, in practice, it will most probably still be bought as such and, on the long run, be remembered as the current (definitive ?) way to play the game. Be it because of further patches, future mods incompatible with the base version, popular use in articles to come, etc.
Regardless of whether or not one enjoyed Sacred 2 - I didn't find it that gripping, imaginative or polished, honestly, and since it's still accessible here, the drama's quite limited... -, it's interesting how those remasters almost always end up replacing the originals. Even when they're drenched in a barrel of objective changes, limitations or (downright) flaws...
