Before you guys mention yes they added in option that replaces the tank like controls with something like Parasite Eve 1, Final Fantasy 9, God of War, Devil May Cry, etc. (As in moving the character)
I don't how it works for Keyboard but I played Alone in the Dark and I manage to beat it with its controls.
Also to anyone who will play this for the first time. My advice is to play as Chris Redfield. Because Jill Valentine is essentially easy mode:
1. Jill can get a Grenade Launcher which also can use fire grenades to burn zombies, preventing them from becoming Crimsion Heads. Chris does not get a grenade launcher.
2. Jill has a Lockpick, while Chris has to find generic keys
3. Jill has 8 inventory slots while Chris has 6
4. Barry Burton Babysits Jill alot. Because of him Jill gets the shotgun earlier in the game. And Barry can supply her with more ammo and curatives than Wesker does for Chris.
Finally I don't I just find the acting in Jill's campaign rather lackluster. At least the acting Chris is more tolerable and passable.
Just trust me play as Chris heck you can play as him on Easy mode (as in the beginning of the game the game offers you to pick with "Mountain Climber" or "Hiker" Which is Normal and Easy respectively) If you want a more tense experiance play as Chris also the presentation is better in Chris because Chris for the most part is alone, almost like a Metroid game. (Almost though he does meet with Rebecca from time to time its not as constant as Barry)
