Roll the dice on destruction.

Ziggurat, a dungeon-crawling roguelite FPS, is available now for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 60% launch discount!

Ziggurat is a deliberate next step in the evolution of randomised, procedurally generated, FPS roguelikes. Like a legendary piece of loot, it's a game that takes nearly all of the greatest elements from the genre and meshes them together into what is, today, just about the best way to get your hit of randomised hell. What's part of the package? A blend of spellcasting and gunplay, an aesthetically pleasing and fun level generator, fast and frantic gameplay for plenty of skill-based challenge, and upgrades that'll change the way you play - not just give you a boost. Ziggurat is a game you'll play through several times, and each game will be different- always fair, but never at the cost of fun - from your starting weapons, the challenges that await, through to your inevitable death.

Ziggurat is available now DRM-free on GOG.com! The 60% launch discount will last for one week, until Thursday, 12:59 PM GMT.
Perfect, about time... instabought.
A dungeon crawler with an awesome discount? SOLD!
Woo-hoo! Great news. Somehow I knew this will come to GoG someday : )
Easily one of the best throwbacks to old school FPS in years, and somehow the level generator avoids the problem of stale, repetitive level design. The developers have also really impressed me with how much post launch support they've given. Consider this a must buy!
Awesome game.

Everyone just buy it.

I bought it on Steam summer sale because I really wanted to try it and had no idea it's coming here.

I spent so many hours with it and even managed to gain all achievements.

It's rogue-lite FPS with many different weapons (you have 5 slots and in 4 of them you can have various weapons of similar type).
You gain experience and pick new perks on level up. You start with few perks and weapons unlocked and when you die, you unlock new ones (there are dozens of perks and fair amount of weapons as well).

There is a lot of characters you can unlock and some of them play quite differently.

If you like rogue-lite games, FPS or just good games you probbaly can't go wrong with this one.

If anyone needs to know anything feel free to ask.

Also, developers are working on update to the game, and plan to add 1 more enemy type, boss, new character or two and some new items and perks. EDIT: Oh, the aditional content was actually added today. 5 new characters, 2 new enemy types, 1 new boss, 10 new perks, new room layouts and combat modifiers and daily challenges. It's time to dwelve back into this game then.

No bonuses of any kind?

It does look pretty good though, I'll wait to see some reviews though.
Looks interesting. Not much of an FPS player any more, but I do love Roguelikes... (and rogue lites)

Wishlisted.
Another good release! Wishlisted :)
Am I correct in assuming there are no melee weapons or armor in the game for those of us who enjoy paladin-type characters?
Great release :).

There are not. It's about magic and even when some spells are really short ranged and suited for close combat they can't be really considered as melee.
There is Templar character pictured in armour but he is mage as well.
I've actually tried this one on Steam. Unfortunately this ended up as my guinea pig for the refund system.

The game didn't feel bad, concept is quite interesting, but after an hour of gameplay I didn't feel I'd get as much from it as, say, the binding of isaac.

Still, if you like rogue like and first person, you could get a bunch of fun from this.

Glad to see this here though.
Intriguing... I like the concept of this one.
Another game that's been out so long I thought it already was on GOG.
