Again, it just says multiplayer but it does not say whether it's local or online
Funny, I never heard of the board game before a week ago when I payed it with friends. I thought how cool it would be to have a pc version for playing alone and learning all the different birds. Now it´s here.

Probably online because if you scroll down it says that cross platform multiplayer with steam is supported. So I assume galaxy is needed.

EDIT: according to it's steam page there local co-op

Also someone from GOG should go and mark the wish as completed in the community wish list

Both. Online isn't tied to an account, but I don't know if it's Galaxy-free or not.
Looks cute but still seems expensive at this discount, good thing considering my already long backlog. Particularly that soundtrack that is a bit over 20 minutes of decent but generic music.

this sounds good. As for the boardgame I might get it for my flatmates and friends if I like the digital edition. I don't follow much the boardgame scene but I'm more open to it now that I have more friends who play those rather than local coop of games I like. I wasn't aware this was from a boardgame. Now I'd like to see Fury of Dracula from Nomad games since we had Talisman. And maybe Fighting Fantasy Legends, hopefully with Japanese.

I wonder if I made a double post, as my posts are not showing up.

Graphics: Nvidia GT540

WinterSnowfall: Why not be realistic here and include an integrated graphics chip as baseline? Nobody is going to remember what a 10 year-old GPU equates to in terms of performance...
I don't even know what the pecking order of modern GPUs is. I wish more devs actually listed features of graphics hardware required to run their game, instead of just lazily listing a brand name and specific model "or equivalent", and letting the customer figure out the convoluted interrelations between different models and/or guess at what the actual requirements might be, but I guess a lot of them probably don't know much more than I do about the hardware their software is supposed to be running on (which is sad).

GOG.com:

As I was commenting positively on how the devs chiming in the discussion for Yaga looks good for the release, I have to say that it would have been nice to have the same here. They don't seem to care much for this release, or answering questions about their own game. I guess they are very busy :) But...

Mr.Mumbles: Now that's my kind of game. Tits and boobies, ahoy! ;)
Been playing for a while and have yet to see a single tit or boobie! Seen lots of dicks and peckers though.

Also, there's a victory point card that counts birds with body parts in their name - but none of the above words are mentioned on the card. I find the lack of willingness to engage in juvenile humor... disturbing. :p

It reminds me of that pirate repeating "more sheep!" in a Monkey Island sequel (at least in the Italian translation). I guess Mr. Mumbles meant to say that he'd sail to places where tits and boobies are to be seen rather than birds? But birds is slang for girls in the UK ;)

I played the actual board game, was pretty good IMO. Solid art fun mechanics. Gonna think on this one but nice to see it in Digital format. Now I would love to see Axis and Allies and a solid version of RISK to be made and come here.

Back in the day I had to pirate what i think was a German exclusive version of RISK, I'm not sure if it's abandoned or available somewhere else at this point. RiSK is a classic so a lot of people would be interested for a quick fix even if it's "outdated" as a boardgame and there's a lot of new stuff out. Thanks for the positive feedback on the boardgame! Isn't Axis & Allies the only Beamdog title missing here? Maybe when it leaves early access.

Callouts on good games are due when due and this one deserves it, and I never knew about the Axis digital board game being in early access! now I do hope we get it and with all the expansions. :O

This is the only one I could find. Isn't it the one you mean?
