Liberté! Égalité! Spécialité!

UPDATE: Atteeee-ntion! This is not a drill, soldiers: Crossplay between GOG Galaxy and Steam has now been implemented, so get ready to unleash your inner furry online!

Additionally, those who were looking forward to the game's over-an-hour-long Official Soundtrack now have the option to purchase it separately.

Better yet? Anyone who purchased the game before Crossplay support was implemented, will receive the Soundtrack for FREE, as compensation for the inconvenience. Enjoy!

Tooth and Tail, a grimly satirical RTS about organized animal cruelty, is now available, DRM-free, on GOG.com.

Time to break the (food) chains! The War for Meat has thrown the animal kingdom into upheaval and everyone is out to subdue and consume their opponents. Customize your faction and lead an army of aggressive fuzzballs through procedurally generated maps to burn, gut, or blast the other woodland creatures into gooey pixels. Then you can go online and brutalize your friends' furry pets, unless they're willing to swing by for some couch split-screen play.

Check out our recent Q and A with developers Pocketwatch Games for more info anthropomorphic info.

Watch the trailer.

tinyE: I was wondering when they were going to make a Redwall game. :P

I only wish that wasn't a joke, would love one, but this does look VERY VERY nice.

Geralt_of_Rivia: Lacking an official Redwall game, have you looked at this game?
somehow I doubt I can run it, but I wishlisted it for now. Looks amazing.

THANK YOU

mqstout: How much single player content is a there? (All of the hubbub seems to be about multiplayer.)
Is there direct connect multiplayer ("LAN"), or is only Galaxy/server based, should I ever actually care to try multiplayer?
I seem to remember the Dev saying the single player campaign is about 20 hours, and is kind of random levels (random along a theme I believe so they are similar but different enough to add variety to replays) so you can play it again and again.

They've posted quite a bit in the coming soon thread (and I think they had a Q&A or something?)
Looks good, but no skirmish mode and a focus on multi-player = no buy

i'm looking forward to ghost of a tale.

i just want it to stop being in development.

[sorry, but i refuse to be a paying beta tester. that's what that job is explicitly for and something you should be paying people to do. not me paying you for the "privilege" of doing it.]
high rated
It's a shame that a game with a 20 hour single player campaign isn't available on Linux because Galaxy isn't available for the multiplayer.

I'd have bought this if it were on Linux.
I think the story is going to be to short for $20 (I DON'T have it)

I would like to know also.

Is the multiplayer really DRM-Free ?
I'm somewhat interested in this but we will see, we will see... in a good time that is ;P

Its hard to say at the moment. If you run the game without galaxy it responds the same in multiplayer as with runing galaxy client but cause of missing crossplay nobody is playing multiplayer so its not possible to confirm yet if it depends on galaxy use.
I played it a bit and I like it really.

What is missing and I want to see in future updates, is a skirmish mode.

I'm also wondering why there are two identical Windows installers on the download site (not on Galaxy). Is one for 46bit and the other for 32bit systems? Both have the same download size and are named the same.
Damn, talk about a vocal minority. It's not like I don't want you guys to get your Linux version, but sheesh...
Where is the Linux version ??? *angry*

You do a skirmish by going into multiplayer and picking bots. This being a bit counter-intuitive was an oversight: http://steamcommunity.com/app/286000/discussions/0/1485482132154647150/

Ok Thanks. I try it out. I already was that far choosing multiplayer and offline mode but couldn't figure out how to add bots.

The devs did say in the other thread that they did at one point have direct IP/LAN coded, but stopped maintaining it and stripped it out when Galaxy was implemented. There's a "maybe" it may come back sometime.
