Reckless, beautiful, and well-equipped with twin pistols--Lara Croft is here!

Tomb Raider 1+2+3, the game that broke new ground in the third-person action genre, is available now on GOG.com for only $9.99.

If you’re one of those people who’ve never used a PC (welcome to GOG.com then!), never been to a movie theater, never owned a TV, and hate comic books, you might have never heard of Tomb Raider or Lara Croft. The Tomb Raider franchise spanned 14 games, 5 expansions, 2 movies, and countless comic books--not to mention incredible amounts of desktop wallpapers, posters and fan-art. Lara Croft is one of a kind--athletic, acrobatic, adventurous, attractive, and aristocratic, not to mention her short shorts and too-tight top. One of the (if not the) strongest and interesting female characters in gaming history is now available for download with EXTRAS for only $9.99, thanks to GOG.com, yours truly.

As a game, the first Tomb Raider was an enormous success, because it really offered “everything for everyone”: exceptional platforming action with jumping, running, and trigger-happy combat, intelligent puzzles and mazes, exploration and storyline for those who like adventures, and finally a wild ride of thrills, surprises, and challenges. Grab the original trilogy of Indiana Jones-style adventures with non-stop action, guns, puzzles, and double-D cup size.

Peru, Greece, Egypt, Atlantis, Venice, China, Tiber, London, Antarctica, and Lara’s home--you can visit all of those places in Tomb Raider 1+2+3 for only $9.99.

rampancy: I'm assuming this is using the 3Dfx version with nGlide to give us all 38DD's worth of Lara Croft's boobs in all of their polygonal glory.

mistermumbles: Careful now. We wouldn't want you to poke your eyes out. ;)
I'm waiting for all of the nude patch threads to start popping up on the forums. XD
Oh holy ****, that's all I've been waiting for. Thank you guys.
My childhood's game =) Welcome back Lara.

Nergal01: So, are these the Director's Cut versions?
From what I can tell these are the original versions without the extra levels.

Dear GOG team: You know what's coming now, don't you? Please give us the best versions of these games. kthxbai

tfishell: nGlide? Any way to know?
avatar
Lafazar: It looks like OpenGlide, there's a glide.ini with the line "Configuration File for OpenGLide".

Which is odd, considering a partnership between GOG and Zeus Software, the guys behind nGlide was announced recently:

Yeah that is weird.... has there been *ANY* nGlide based 3dfx games since the announcement? Did GOG ever officially announce it or just Zeus Software?
This friggin awesome! I already own all the parts like a bazillion times, but whatever I love this series.
Fantastic release! I have to say that these are some of the best action-adventure games of all time. What's more, the first game is truly groundbreaking, and what a price for the whole package!

Ha ha, I remember that. Wasn't that an April Fool's cheat code for the console versions that was in an issue of EGM or something but everyone thought it was real?

Edit: So there was an actual patch for the PC version as well.

This release bundle makes me very, very happy.
How is the controller compatibility? Does it have any native settings for gamepads?
My dreams have just come true.

I pirated the first 2 a couple of years ago and they worked just fine with my crappy controller.
The only release today that I'm looking forward to playing in the future. I've never had the chance to play them before.

I didn't know there are people who haven't played it. Seriously. Buy it now, quick! ;-)

Being as iconic as it is, I know it's hard to believe. I will be grabbing it as soon as I can. :)
