Reckless, beautiful, and well-equipped with twin pistols--Lara Croft is here!

Tomb Raider 1+2+3, the game that broke new ground in the third-person action genre, is available now on GOG.com for only $9.99.

If you’re one of those people who’ve never used a PC (welcome to GOG.com then!), never been to a movie theater, never owned a TV, and hate comic books, you might have never heard of Tomb Raider or Lara Croft. The Tomb Raider franchise spanned 14 games, 5 expansions, 2 movies, and countless comic books--not to mention incredible amounts of desktop wallpapers, posters and fan-art. Lara Croft is one of a kind--athletic, acrobatic, adventurous, attractive, and aristocratic, not to mention her short shorts and too-tight top. One of the (if not the) strongest and interesting female characters in gaming history is now available for download with EXTRAS for only $9.99, thanks to GOG.com, yours truly.

As a game, the first Tomb Raider was an enormous success, because it really offered “everything for everyone”: exceptional platforming action with jumping, running, and trigger-happy combat, intelligent puzzles and mazes, exploration and storyline for those who like adventures, and finally a wild ride of thrills, surprises, and challenges. Grab the original trilogy of Indiana Jones-style adventures with non-stop action, guns, puzzles, and double-D cup size.

Peru, Greece, Egypt, Atlantis, Venice, China, Tiber, London, Antarctica, and Lara’s home--you can visit all of those places in Tomb Raider 1+2+3 for only $9.99.
Does it include unfinished bussiness?

Does it work in 3D (TR1 for Direct3D, or TR1 with Dosbox fully configured to use a glide wrapper)?
Consider it bought. ;) While TR: Anniversary is still my favorite of the series, the original ones can still be a lot of fun despite their age and somewhat clunky controls.
Wishlisted here looks good.
Amazing release! I've been thinking about how much I enjoyed playing this game on my PS1, thanks for the opportunity to play them again.

Wishlisted :-)

cyberkiller: I see the screenshots from TR1 have filtered textures - have you included some kind of a graphics upgrade patch?
I'm assuming this is using the 3Dfx version with nGlide to give us all 38DD's worth of Lara Croft's boobs in all of their polygonal glory.
Boooooooooooooooooooooobies.

Just installed it. GOG used a SVN version of DOSBox with a glide wrapper (looks like OpenGlide). The 3dFX logo appears when starting the game. Unfortunately I have a bug in the Menu where it constantly keeps going left, so I'll have to figure out what causes that, but it seems to indeed be set up to be played with graphics acceleration.

Edit: If anyone else has that problem: I fixed it by setting joysticktype=none in the dosboxTR.conf file.

How can I check for the presence of unfinished business?

Todpullen: Not fussed about Angel of Darkness.
That was the first game I played on /my/ (personally bought) PC back in '04, so it and I have a nostalgic history. (I do realize that most people hated it, and it was basically the downfall of Core afaik) Plus, that theme (featuring, iirc, the London Philharmonic) is my favorite TR theme of them all. (Speaking of the soundtracks...)

Careful now. We wouldn't want you to poke your eyes out. ;)

Is there any info on how compatible the games are with newer controllers? (XBox controller etc).

Also I'm assuming some people will have a thread up in the Tomb Raider forums for fan upgrades and such.

It looks like OpenGlide, there's a glide.ini with the line "Configuration File for OpenGLide".

Which is odd, considering a partnership between GOG and Zeus Software, the guys behind nGlide was announced recently:

Added to the Library :D
So, are these the Director's Cut versions?
And I was thrilled when Anachronox was given a $6 base price... $10 for the first 3 TR's is the best Square value on GOG yet. Bravo!!
