Played this way back on iOS, then Steam... glad to finally get a DRM-free copy

Looks great. Instaboycotted.
"Release the random 4-year-old indie game!" =P

Doesn't look half bad though.

Honestly, I have always greatly preferred it this way.

You know the game is as patched as it will ever get. You know they won't be dropping more DLCs on you. You can read years of reviews before purchase. You get a big discount on "release". For me, no downsides at all.

I was merely poking fun at GOG, but I heartily agree with all your points... to a point.

As nebulous as GOG's curation system can be, there are definitely occasions for me to be a bit frustrated with them for releasing some games but not others for "reasons". Thankfully, it does appear they've seemed to have loosened their view on what's releasable here, but it's still got a ways to go.
The game is pretty nice. Kinda lacking backstory about the world, but I can live with that. I've found several puzzle games for phones that are pretty good and deserve a release here (Lara Croft GO feels more like the old Core Design games, than the new Tomb Raiders). Honestly I have no problem with different types of games being released here - as they say "One man's trash is another man's treasure." BUT there seems to be an influx of DRM-NOT-FREE games lately, which needs to be addressed. Come on GoG, DRM-FREE is your motto, show us that you care.
it was -80% during the steam summer sale, so not gonna double dip at this price (haven't had time to try it yet anyway), but good to see more recent stuff show up here.
Nice stuff, and for less than 5 €. To the library it goes.

It would be nice if you stated that what you are actually boycotting is GOG store (for whatever reasons), otherwise it could be interpreted as if you had something against the devs or this kind of game...
Not that it's going to save you from downvoting, but some clarifying is always welcome. Cheers!

It has nothing do with lack of clarification but everything to do with his repeated boycott-spam posting in release threads.
Blatantly a mobile game, but with the launch discount it's priced like one, so that works. Actually it looks good, but a little effort to adapt the UI to a computer screen would have been appreciated.
Grabbed it as it looks like a rather interesting combo of strategy and puzzle.

Wouldn't mind seeing gog get other puzzle type stuff like the Puzzle Quest series.

Thank you. That's a good idea. I have added the reasons in the post that I have linked to (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/boycotting_gog_2021/post2782), not here, because I don't want to derail release threads with unrelated information. I just post my reaction to the game here.

As for downvoting, I certainly don't care, although it is interesting that when for years I posted things like "Looks great. Instabought." or "instawishlisted" nobody considered it "spam". Yet, somehow, by changing one verb, it has somehow become "spam".

It's spam because you're pushing an agenda now, which is unrelated to the game in question. Thought that was obvious.

Yep. Nothing wrong with having or sharing a personal agendas as long as they're all centralized in their own threads. Otherwise, it gets really preachy and annoying quick.

Anyway, this gameplay looks really interesting. Has pretty good ratings on Steam and Metacritic too.
