The Next BIG Thing is now available DRM-free. Get it 80% off until September 11th, 1pm UTC.

What if horror movies' monsters were actually played by real monsters? And what if they were now forced to play in movies for kids, romantic comedies or even musicals? And what would happen if, eventually, they were to rebel?

In that context, Liz Allaire, talented journalist who can't count up to 4, and Dan Murray, a tough macho who can't stand beetles, attend the horror movies award ceremony… there is the starting point of an incredible story, full of twists and turns! Help Liz and Dan solve the numerous mysteries of an amazing adventure that you won't forget any time soon!

groze: I might get this, 2€ for a Pendulo game sounds fair enough, considering how mediocre I always found the Runaway games to be, even (especially?) if I'm a huge point & click adventure nerd.
If you don't particularly like Pendulo adventures, I'd steer clear of this one, low price notwithstanding.

Even within the Pendulo output The Next BIG Thing is mediocre at best. The main characters are unlikeable, the jokes painfully unfunny and the story does absolutely nothing with the "monsters are real" premise. The only positive aspect is it looks gorgeous and has all the modern comfort features like hot spots, shortcuts and a help system.

This is for hardcore Pendulo fans only.

Just for your information. I contacted Focus to get an official German release here but so far they are ignoring me. However I got confirmation that a German language patch will soon be available here in case you would like to prefer to play it in German.
Bought , now bring Hollywood Monsters here if you can please :)

You're very welcome - and if you read the latest posts in the thread you might see that the patch already has arrived thanks to the great work of PoooMukkel :)
I'm not a big fan of adventure games, but I bought this just because I find the premise to be interesting and the aesthetic looks great.
