It will put down roots in your heart.

The First Tree is now available DRM-free.

Sometimes a game is not about winning or losing. It's about opening yourself to emotions that resonate with what makes us human.

While playing as a fox.

Follow her on this spellbinding journey through love, loss, and wonderful, dreamlike landscapes.
This looks interesting. Wishlisted.
As I said in another thread, this gives me RiME vibes. Not only because of the fox: it's also the aesthetics, the music, the atmosphere.

It seems painfully short though.

Yes. It looks very beautiful, but when even the publisher only quotes a play-time of 2 hours, the real play-time is surely way below that.
meh, i like the art and overall concept but am wary of heavy fisted emotional tactics in order to evoke a response, which the trailer seems to do
Looks fairly nice, and I haven't had an adventure game that I wanted to add to my wishlist in awhile, so off it goes there!

Uhm, actually, it's been available DRM-free for more than a year on itch.io.

Pedantry aside, nice one! :)

And itch.io version is 2 dollar cheaper.
interestingly enough, the steam page says it's 1.5 hours, not 2:
> A short game (about an hour and a half) focused on story with some light puzzle solving and platforming.
low rated

You're thinking of HuniePop.
I just read the first reviews on Steam, watched the trailer and saw the announcement of the dev (one man only) who had worked to optimize this game since a year. After that I decided to buy it. We need more devs putting their hearts into their games. I don't care about short gametime the experience is all that counts for me. Looking forward to play it.
This game looks cool. Kind of reminds me of two games that I played on Kongregate that are called "William and Sly" and "William and Sly 2". Anyone else play those?
