Every time I install the game it keeps saying its missing a file, and I have downloaded the game several times now.
Anyone here having the same problems?

Thanks for all those great Battle of the Games deals GOG. I bought a couple of games and I hope you do sth like this in the future. It's a great idea to make deals intractive.

You have Microsoft Security Essentials, right?

What I had to do is to go to "History" in it, restore the file that was deleted today (sort by date), then "Settings" - "Excluded files and locations" - "browse" - (find your installation dir) - add - save changes. After that it worked for me.

I installed the game, Avira says it has a virus: Obfuscate.XZ.4858

Avira is annoying (i had this problem with Rayman too) but i would like to be sure the game is safe. Can anyone at GOG confirm this?

Yes, everything is safe. I don't think it would be in our best interest to sell virus-laden games, now would it? :D

Not sure if Avira being overprotective (as usual) or if there is actually a problem: the game launches and runs properly, but when i quit, my destkop does weird stuff like my nVidia control panel crashing instantly (display still OK though). Hope it's just a coincidence cause i never had this kind of problem before. I'll try a couple more times and tell you if my PC explodes :p

EDIT: Well it's weird. I had to reinstall my graphic pilots because the nVidia control panel didn't want to launch anymore. Hoping this is not related.

Riddick for $5.99? Very nice.

The lowest I've seen it before was $4.99, but I find highly acceptable to pay $1 extra to have it DRM-free, since other stores sell it with DRM.

I wonder why The Darkness was not released for PC, would buy that for sure since it is by the same devs.

FlyByU: it just had 2 big files after combining and it did said it was 7.1 GB to download. According to the down loader it downloaded all 7.1Gb The new down-loader is what I used maybe there is an issue with the update on the down loader.

JMich: Re-adding it to the downloader should find the already downloaded files and re-download the rest. Don't worry if it is on "Preparing..." for a long time, it's verifying what it already has.
What are the filenames of the 2 files btw? They should be "setup_chronicles_of_riddick_1.0.0.8-#.bin" with # 1 to 4, and "setup_chronicles_of_riddick_1.0.0.8.exe".
Worse case scenario, get the missing files through the web browser, and post a link to your logger.log file in the sticky thread for Zen.

Another nice release GOG. Bought this even though I finished them a long time ago. BB is great, whilst DA was decidingly average for me. For $5.99...well can't really argue.

It was an early release on modern consoles. Often during that period there are many less PCs that can handle a port, so companies don't bother. Same thing will probably happen next year, sadly.

Holy crap this was a surprise! I completely avoided buying this simply because of the installation limits. Now GoG is selling it with absolutely NO DRM?

This makes me a very happy man. Instant purchase!
