I'll say this again: there needs to be a new term for "turn-based with real-time elements", so people like me who prefer turn-based (and only pure turn-based) over twitcher mechanics can avoid games like this one. If I wanted real-time mechanics, I'd get a real-time game, not one that makes me wait my turn before I have to twitch to its whims.

Ayup. This blurb reads "avoid me unless I'm practically free, and even then probably best to look elsewhere":
Customize your player-character with a variety of magical techniques, all executed via specialized quicktime-events!
Quicktime events???

Niggles: Quicktime events???
If I had to guess, it's a tactical grid with timed hits, but I could be absolutely wrong, since the game goes out of the way to not describe itself in a meaningful manner.

Reading this review seems to confirm that.
Now that is the caliber of artwork that just screams "free to play on Newgrounds ten years ago."

They actually updated the artwork with better artist if you see the one on the gog main page. I don't know why they stuck with the worse artwork on the news page.

Speaking of avoiding, I hope the game has no actual association with the creator because they seem like quite the piece of work.

(Once again, GOG's curation has rolled a nat 1.)
