One delightful pirate reunion

We have launched a new developer today--Telltale Games, the finest purveyor of episodic adventure games--and we’re starting off with three fantastic adventures: Sam & Max Save the World, Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, and Tales of Monkey Island. All three games are on a huge "Welcome to GOG" sale for Telltale, and will be 60% off until 3 July.

Tales of Monkey Island, a game full of pirates, voodoo, and Guybrush Threepwood, is available for the next 7 days with a huge 60% discount--that’s $13.99 for the game with wallpapers, avatars, high-res artworks, developer commentary videos and more goodies.

Tales of the Monkey Island is the fifth game in the beloved Monkey Island series. The game follows fair-haired Guybrush Threepwood who, along with his new wife Elaine Marley-Threepwood, finds himself on a new adventure. This time, our heroes are on a goal to destroy two things: Guybrush's arch-nemesis--the zombie pirate LeChuck--and a voodoo pox that Guybrush accidentally unleashed upon the world. The entertaining story, stunning visuals, clever puzzles, and faithful adherence to the original Monkey Island games earned a lot of praise from critics and great commercial success as well. Tales of the Monkey Island is available on sale for $13.99 until Tuesday, July 3 at 6:59 AM EDT. Be sure to check out the other Telltale Games releases today, all of which are on sale for until 3 July.

If you’re a fan of old-school adventure games or a pirate (YARRRRRR!) you don’t really need any recommendation for and Tales of Monkey Island for $13.99.

Meh :(

I am very happy for people who this release makes happy.

Meh...
Totally unexpected. Thank you GOG
Ooh. DRM free Guybrush? Tempting.

BTW - before anyone gets the wrong idea here...this is NOT Lucasarts, so don't get your hopes up for Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Loom, etc.

This is Telltale Games - still a coup and they have some great games. But not LA.

Dang it... why did I buy these on Steam last year. Why Why!
You need to fix the links!
Perhaps there will also be a Good Old Game released a bit later today, mmmh?
It sometimes happens, two releases in a day.
Yes ? No ? Yes ?

Any chance people who already bought the Telltale games on telltale.com get to enjoy that bonus content?

you'd have to ask Telltale.

Fred_DM: you'd have to ask Telltale.
People tend to not so much "ask" Telltale, as much as "demand from" Telltale.

Mate, you're getting three releases today. Asking for another is just greedy. :P
