Looks like a game mostly made up of repetative grindy mini-games. Is this a port of a mobile game? Because everything about it looks and sounds that way.

Hey there! My name is Dora, and I'm the producer attached to this project. This isn't a port. This is made by a two-man indie team, and is the standalone sequel to an extremely popular game they originally developed and released online for free years ago. The signature style is very colorful, I know, but it's also a big part of the series. :)

The basic loop of the game boils down to adventuring across the world map via combat nodes. You can return to town to level-up via minigames like archery and more, but combat is similar to the active-time battle of certain classic JRPGs. Your character and allies attack automatically, though you can queue up and activate skills and special abilities your character learns as they grow.

It's kind of its own creature, so it's a little tricky to explain! My advice would be to check out some of the streamers and such who have covered the game and see if it seems like something you'd enjoy. Regardless, thank you for reading up on the game and looking into it!
Out of curiosity,

Could someone explain how the growth system works? For example, if I want to raise a particular stat, or learn a new ability, what would I need to do?

Another related question: What's the level cap, and the level that the player is expected to be reached by endgame? Or does the game lack this particular mechanic? (Hence why I'm asking about the growth system.)

(I posted a topic here recently about games with more exotic growth systems in RPGs, and am wondering if this game would qualify.)

Another question, since there appears to be no Linux versino, does this game run in WINE?

No, idea if this works with WIne, but found this in the FAQ:
Q: On what platforms will the game be released?
A: On PC, first on Kartridge , then 45 days later on Steam. Then later possibly other PC platforms and if we can Mac and Linux, but it's no guarantee.

It reminds me of Steamworld, which I don't like.
Man, Rayman extended universe took a weird turn.
Minimum system requirements:
System:
Windows 7 / 8 / 10
Processor:
Quad Core 2.6 GHZ
Memory:
4 GB RAM
Graphics:
2GB VRAM min

my system :D
8 GB ram instead of 4 GB but that doesnt make any difference.

and a quad 2.66 ghz i5-750 is a quad.266 ghz, maybe after overclocking it might run games okay who set the cpu as a minimum system, but i never overclock any hardware, if i need more ghz i wait save some euros and buy new hardware, never overclocking here :D

Anyway not overclocked my CPU, so the game is a little too demanding on the i-5 750 2.66 ghz (CPU)
i own some game tha require Quad Core 2.6 GHZ
Memory:
4 GB RAM
Graphics:
2GB VRAM min

and 90% doesnt run well, the 2.66 is just too weak ( standard mode NOT overclocked)
I recommend a 3ghz ( basic speed not at overclocked) or better a 3.6 GHZ ( abse speed also NOT overclocked)
Forget the old i5 -750 2.66 its old and trash i should have upgraded the cpu back then( 5 years ago there were better cpu) but somehow it slipped my mind, normally i upgrade CPU in between but totally forgot... now i am stuck with it.
Its almost a decade old so.... its okday new pc might come in 2020 still saving :D

Steam World ....

thanks for the reminder... i had a deja vu with the new game, but it's a dejavu with the Steamworld
game:

Steam world: ( seems many similar looking games claim 2,66 ghz can do the trick... but it can't.... if it did i woul not be saving to get a 3.6 ghz cpu :D

Steam World:
Recommended:
Processor: 2 GHz dual-core
Graphics: Geforce GTX 660 / Radeon 7870 or better.

----> forget it :D no way that game will perform well on anything less then 3ghz ( as a start) nowadays game seem to be developed very fast, usually Unity, sometimes java or python or similar... and they all feel " heavy
so a 2 ghz dual will simply not cut it :D

Anyway many devs seem to either over estimate the CPU or underestimate their game(s) , usually the game is/are more heavy then then expected.
