SirPrimalform: Looks really cool. I very much appreciate the demo - unfortunately for me it runs like a turd in treacle even with the lowest settings, so one for the wishlist until I get a new computer.
you need a new computer too ?
i read the system requirements, a simple quad core is NOT gonna run the game smoothly.

Anyway i could download the demo just for fun , make a screenshot showing this game should NOT be run on a quad core i5 750 2.66

ah :D the system requiremens already mention it, more or less :D

Processor:
Intel Core2Duo 2.66GHz

Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics : GTX 780 ..... an GTX 780 :D :D mine is 750

anyway, it's nice to have for the gamers who like games like this and i am very happy it arrived , i still hope good old games will arrive again , someday :

still waiting for The Secret Files 1,2,3,4 and Lost Horizon 1 +2 :D DRM free .... guess they will never come , maybe too niche ? ٩◔‿◔۶

dozens of good old games , many "abandoned " games.... waiting to be discovered and fixed to run again on modern systems, which require a lot of work unfortunately and time to make the games "great" again, maybe that is the main reason there were very little good old games released ( beside all the fpp games), the few 2d games that arrived are meh...

btw Supra reminds me only of vitamines ... which checked out, after i searched Googled for Supra vitamins :D

i_ni: Doesn't look like a Unity game. Found out it's Unreal 4.
Sorry but who cares? :P

It doesn't matter... unless it was written in Source 3, ahah.
Is the Linux version also coming to GOG? It's available on Steam but I ain't buying the game there.
I've finished the demo. It's a great game and I will buy as soon as I can. I also have to thank you for releasing it with all the features, not like other developers who don't bother treating us like second-class buyers. I rarely consider getting all the achievements to a game, but this is one of the few that is worth it.

He said it would only sell 2 copies a month if he did so didn't seem very willing? You could try to convince him yourself on Discord. https://discord.gg/3FaTrZr
Since Steam has a Linux port but GOG has not, I delved into the Discord server of this dev and apparently he likes neither GOG customers, nor Linux users, just let me put a quote of him here where he didn't answer my question, but offers some prejudice instead:

But, in general, he is right about the number of sales. He has sales statistics in Steam, and we all know that GOG is is several times smaller than Steam.
Despite of how good the game is, even here in the release topic everything is quite dull. It is clear that there will not be fifty pages here as with the release of Diablo, but such an amazing game that almost everyone who played is extremely highly rated is very sluggishly discussed here. And I suspect that sales may be appropriate.

This statement actually makes me wonder why the dev even bothered to release his game to the anti-mainstream-community. I have to say that I enjoyed the demo but that's a statement I really dislike. Yes, GOG is not mainstream but not "fore the sake of it" but because they believe in it as do those who buy here. Maybe I should not buy this game after all - don't want to support such prejudices.

Today I learned:
GOG customers = Linux users = Vegans
All just people going against the mainstream for the sake of it.

I'm really tired of that narrow minded judgement.
I'd even wager that the minority of those groups "just wants to be rebellious".

I was really interested in that game, seems like a nice 3D Metroidvania, but now I lost all interest.

So he's basically saying GOG and Linux users are hipsters? Funny. Personally I've made the switch to Linux because the alternative is shit nowadays. And obviously the same goes for any form of heavy DRM on software ( or hardware ). I've bought his game on Steam about a month or two ago, but now I kinda wish I hadn't.

For some feedback on the actual game: I've only played it for a few hours, but I have to say it felt merely "OK" to me. It's fun and has a few interesting twists, but I don't understand all the glowing praise it received. Is it just because of the Indie underdog bonus? It's mostly a mixture of gameplay concepts borrowed from other games, spiced up with some pop culture references. For a one man/ small team Indie effort it's certainly not bad, but personally I wouldn't recommend a full price purchase. Buy it at a discount, or check out the demo first.

Frankly, if you're looking for a good Metroidvania, and haven't already bought it, I'd recommend Bloodstained instead. I bought that one recently, at a higher price than Supraland. Zero regrets.

Ah yes, the one that promised Linux on the kickstarter but then changed their minds.

the linux build is already on steam so he just have to upload the linux build here and gets 20 bux a month for it and he won't do it? damn that son must be rich.

I wasn't personally paying attention to the Kickstarter campaign, but I think I've heard of that. There was also that issue regarding the lack of a DRM-free version for its retro spin-off/ prequel.

Regardless, the actual game is very good. And for what it's worth, it runs near flawlessly on Linux, via Steam's Proton.
