A true pixel art gem from Merge Games is now available on GOG.COM DRM-free. Sparklite is an action-adventure title in which you can invent your own arsenal of weapons to destroy any potential foes. Until November 21st, 4 pm UTC, you can buy this great game 15% off.

Sparklite tells the story about Ada, a young mechanic that travels through the land of Geodia. She searches for the eponymous Sparklite, a mysterious force that binds the known world. Used in good faith, it can power machines and help to create new inventions. Unfortunately, an evil power-hungry “Baron” also seeks the energy of Sparkilite for his own purposes. Ada must stop him at all costs or Geodia will change irreversibly.
This looks right up my alley!

YEY!

I even didn't buy Steam copy, because for some reason it's not live yet.
But maybe I leave this purchase for some other time, I'm waiting for Spire of Sorcery, which should be out of LEA today.
Looks quite nice and fun. From what I've read it's also much more forgiving than some other games with pseudo-permadeath.
looks like my cup of tea. will pick this up before the day is out!
after receiving mixed reviews demo is not longer available.
18 days after release of Sparklite, GOG just put the Deluxe Edition up for sale. The trouble is there's no upgrade path for those that bought the initial release. You can buy the soundtrack separately, but there's no way to get the artbook without paying for the game again.

On top of that, Standard and Deluxe editions of the game cost the same. They should fix that.
