An ominous legend reborn into beauty!

Shadowgate: Special Edition, one of the greatest classic fantasy adventures lovingly redesigned for modern gamer, is available 20% off for Windows and Mac OS X on GOG.com. That's only $23.99 for the first week. The special edition contains an orchestral soundtrack, a digital map, a NES Metal Mix, and more great bonus goodies, but you can also get the regular edition, for $15.99. You can always upgrade it later, but it will amount to a higher total price.

Shadowgate: Special Edition is one of the most well-known and beloved point-and-click adventure titles in gaming history. As one of the original titles in the popular MacVenture series that went on to be celebrated on the NES, GBC and Nintendo 64, Shadowgate quickly endeared players with its fantastic atmospheric soundtrack, perilous locations to progress through, countless puzzles to solve, and more ways to gruesomely die than gamers previously thought possible. Thrust into the role of "The Seed of Prophecy," players travel deep into the living castle, in hopes of defeating the evil that dwells within – the dreaded Warlock Lord. Now, nearly 30 years after the original version haunted Mac and NES gamers, the original development team behind that timeless classic is back with a full re-imagining of the original Shadowgate.

If you want to see what this great classic looked like in the imagination of its creators, almost 30 years ago, you can finally see their vision realized in full in Shadowgate: Special Edition, for $23.99 on GOG.com. Please note that the special 20% off release discount for both available versions as well as the upgrade DLC lasts only until Tuesday, September 23, at 9:59AM GMT. Don't miss out!

Crosmando: Just an FYI, but if you own the Shadowgate remake on Humble Bundle (ie if you backed the Kickstarter), the "retro" emulated games have now been added to your Humble account (Shadowgate, Uninvited and Devaju 1/2).
Those bonuses don't show up on the game cards on the humble store (both normal and special edition) so it's only for backers, right? Is it also steam-tied?

Don't see them. Although the Steam version should include the old Shadowgate and Deja Vu, but I haven't tried to see if I really got them.

Ah, okay, it's for $45 backers and up (checked the Kickstarted update).
