UPDATE: Don your best frock and tie your shoelaces together: RUINER is now out on Linux and the penguin dance is in order! To celebrate, the game is 50% off until April 25, 3pm UTC.

RUINER, a cyberpunk action shooter with a striking aesthetic and lightning-fast combat, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

Are you good at taking orders? How about dodging bullets coming straight out of some psychopath's firearm? There's a bleak future ahead of you then: just put on your unusually expressive helmet, grab any weapon you can find, and make your way through the violent streets of Rengkok, a cesspool run by corrupt authorities and bloodthirsty thugs. Don't question your mission - the mysterious voice in your head always knows best.

Want to listen to the game's electronic beats even when you're not beating up thugs? The one-hour-long Official Soundtrack is now available for purchase.

Love how it looks, hoping for good reviews.
Second polish Indie Cyberpunk game of the year :D *clap* even though this time I might be able to enjoy it, since I'm not really a Horror game dude (Observer).
Unless GOG is holding back for a day or something to bump this news, Steam has an advantage in the soundtrack available as DLC. Spent a few minutes looking, can't find another place to buy the soundtrack.

Yeah, I don't see why they wouldn't offer the soundtrack on GOG, but it did take a little bit for the listing for that piece of DLC to go up on Steam, so who knows?

This is definitely a game where I'd like to be able to buy the OST.
Had it pre-ordered and it released so soon! Nice!

I played it for a bit on my crappy laptop and it looks and plays great. It's way better than what I was expecting, it's definitely one of my personal favorites of the year, so far. It's also quite brutal, at least on Normal, considering I died a few times on the "tutorial" alone -- this is something that I particularly enjoy, but if you don't like hard games, be advised, as this may not be a title for you. I'm also playing using keyboard and mouse but I get the feeling the game might play better with a controller.

Also, it's kind of interesting to see that whenever a pixel art game releases on GOG all the entitled old farts complain about Devolver Digital and how they are part of what's "ruining the video game industry", but when they do release great, interesting or more "modern-looking" games, like the Shadow Warrior reboot games or this here Ruiner, people apparently forget it's the exact same "industry ruining" Devolver that publishes them.

The reason why Linux was removed from the store page is that it will be coming a little bit later.

Just a heads up if you're planning to play this with keyboard and mouse and DON'T use the WASD layout:
As of yet you CANNOT rebind ANY of the keys.

I do use WASD but not being able to remap keys is bullshit period.

Thanks for the heads up. Even though I would be fine with that layout, I'm tempted not to get it on the principle now.
If they don't patch in rebindable keys I'll be refunding. That's inexcusable for a PC game and they should have made this clear before release.

Glad to know it does lasts up to 10 hours if you do make the effort to read and see around everything in the game. That's enough. Reports also have it as being well optimized. So, I am buying it on the fall sale. Whishlisted for now.

If you have a Steam account, one of the developers is very active on the forums for it, and you could contact them and ask when they'll be adding rebindable keys. I don't think they'll leave it out for long.

It's less that they'll patch it in and more that they didn't think to include such a basic feature in the first place. This seems to be happening more and more lately, with some of the REALLY incompetent ones not even making it work with kb+m at all, because apparently they coded the game using on-screen keyboard with their xbox 360 controller.
I find it hilarious a Polish dev won't take the time to comment on here- I have yet to see this happen, are they allergic to this place? ...but hey. Let's hope they know we won't accept a console port, that they actually have to make the PC version work right.
