Hunting high and low.

Rise of the Dragon is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
It's 2053 and William 'Blade' Hunter must work the Los Angeles shadows to find out who's behind the horrible murder of the mayor's daughter. Rumor has it, a new drug is taking over the streets of this already beaten down city and death is only a point and a click away.
Both the game's cyberpunk stylings and choice-driven gameplay were quite ahead of its time - an attitude that Hunter himself must adopt if he's to solve this labyrinthine case.
Always wanted to play this one, but it should be noted that only the Sega CD version has voice acting.
Never heard of this and Heart of China but both look right up my alley.

Thanks GOG for still getting old games.

Yes but the Sega CD version is also censored.
Ok, I appreciate the Sierra love, but can we please get the Space Quest and King's Quest remakes now?
And the first two Call of Duty's aren't Steam-integrated, right? Those could show up.

What versions aren't here that aren't fan remakes?

I believe he's referring to 2015 King's Quest remake.

As far as Space Quest goes, I think they are all here already. Unless he's talking about SpaceVenture game, which of course isn't even finished yet.

There are definitely some choice Sega CD releases from back in the day that happened to be on PC...thank God.

So you're from the DRC...the place in Africa that should be the Tokyo of Africa...U.S. here and I'm so sorry and embarrassed.

He possibly meant on the first two are any good...

Anime-BlackWolf: Aaaaaaaand bought. Thanks GOG.

Now PLEASE "EcoQuest 1+2" AND "Manhunter: New York" and "Manhunter: Las Vegas".

"Gold Rush" seems already to be incoming sooner or later... Thanks a lot. :)
I think Man Hunter: Las Vegas would have been an excellent entry into the Man Hunter series, but all we got was New York and San Francisco. :-)

Right there with you though. These four games are about all we are missing from classic Sierra. Well, maybe the Dr. Brain series and Jones in the Fast Lane.

The first two have the most votes, and they + expansion are combined on Steam as the War Chest for $30 (vs buying each separately at $60). And those are the only two I've played.

But hey, any are welcome here, even disliked ones.
Omg thank you!
Now to wait for a sale
more sierra!

[by way of dynamix.]

yes, please! keep the train rolling.

i think they had plans for this, but i also think this was the point where the murphy's got a little tired of dealing with sierra and left? [i am unsure now, but i don't think they made /any/ other games for them after that point.]

plus: there was the big shift from the agi engine to the sci engine more-or-less at the same time and that would have meant redoing whatever design they had for the third game from scratch.

it's a shame, because as silly as the game mechanics were, i was always curious about what happened, re: the storyline.

i never played heart of china even back when it was a new release, so i have no idea of what that's like, but rise of the dragon is a reasonable enough game. it gets arcade sections in your adventure game, though, so be wary of that if that's not to your taste. [you can skip most of these.]
