I own all the floppy and/or CD versions still, own most if not all of these on Steam, but doubt I'll resist owning them here too.
679 RUR for "Quake: The Offering"?
It costs 219 RUR on Steam.

Grargar: the WIndows version doesn't have any music at all (it initially came in .ogg files, but GOG had to pull them from the release due to licensing issues)
mmm... this makes me wonder why some games (Obscure?) were completely removed from the catalogue when the problem was supposed to be the use of some licensed music.

I guess, publisher's request. In this case, GOG was offered two choices; remove the readily-available .ogg files or remove the game from the store.
Bought.
Thank you so much GOG, I thought these games would never appear here. :)
Hey GOG! change the expansions from "-game hipnotic" and "-game rogue" to just "-hipnotic" and "-rogue", otherwise the expansion's huds are all fucked up! :P

How come? Haven't installed Quake so far, so is the interest.

I'm curious about that as well.

When you install the game, you'll be in for a treat. They did a really good job with the 3D acceleration settings. The music is a PITA due to licensing restrictions, but I've left information in the appropriate subforum talking about that.

No idea but I was playing through the DOS Quake expansions and while the expansion music plays fine in the DOS versions the hud was fucked up. When you put "-game" in front of the expansion's it messes the expansion's custom HUD graphics up. so they have to just be the company names. "-hipnotic" and "-rogue". This allows the hud to display the correct custom graphics. This goes for ANY version you play, DOS, GL, WinQuake or source port!

Otherwise been enjoying the DOS version a lot after I modified the .conf files and upped the cycles. Just wanted to shout that issue out and hope a blue sees it. I've sent support tickets in the past for issues like this and they never seem to get seen so..

Will the new official Doom 1 and Doom 2 patches be included in GOG versions too? ;)

What's the point? I get a better Doom experience just by using source ports.
Well the point should be to play the game officially patched and not a source port instead, I guess.
And by the way, no mouselook support: I love this!

The same point as modern PC gaming; convenience. Using a source port is at least one more step than merely installing the game.

It's also the only way for Doom II owners to legally get access to the No Rest for the Living expansion without having to fork money for Doom III BFG.

A curious thing I found out was that if you deleted the steamapi64.dll file from the official re-releases plugins dir, they essentially become DRM-free so PERHAPS a GOG release in the future is planned? who knows time will tell with that one.
