Sachys: Nothing to do with punk then? :(

Andrzejef: Maybe that will come with DLC - A new "true Punk" faction. ;)

I quite like what I see there (I really dig the aesthetics and idea), though lack of multiplayer and random map generator saddens me greatly. Especially that skirmish map choice is very limited. 3 maps available immediately (1 of which I think is used in tutorial), and further 4 unlockable by finishing a specific faction campaign.
Hurts replayability a fair bit I think.
Are the maps then at least "highly different" / and or "scripted"? or just like 7 slighlty different maps in total and then you kinda done? And ya random map generator should be standard in this genre.
I was hoping for Funk Wars, the Deadly Disco Decision.

Breja: I have to say, clicking on that link I was pretty surprised. With that name I was expecting more The Clash and less Jules Verne's Civilisation.
Dieselpunk and steampunk have been a thing for some time now :)

But would that be HARDCORE?

Now we should wait for DLCs that would include Frostpunk and Cyberpunk factions.
In the second trailer the main screen is very far zoomed in for a Civ-style game. Is this the normal way that this game is played or was this just for the demo?

That's what I was thinking.

I'm afraid it really is the zoom level of the game. What you can see at, say, 20:53 mark, is actually the farthest you can zoom out.

I haven't gotted as far as to really comment on that. It seems to be 3 environments (radioactive canyon, ashen wasteland, and dried sea desert), of different sizes. Also, as of v1.07, the maps are not locked behind a campaign anymore. So you have a grand total of 7 skirmish maps and 4 campaign scenarios.

So the maps must be really small or you will scroll yourself to death in this game. :(
This one looks good. On the wish list for the time being. Thanks GOG!
