Better than a barrel of rum!

Pirates! Gold Plus, a pack that includes Pirates! Gold and Sid Meier’s Pirates, the finest pirate simulation and its acclaimed Windows remake, is available in one big booty chest on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Sid Meier's Pirates! is one of the most memorable treasures in the history of PC games and nautical sims. The game might be 25 years old, but the unbeatable concept behind it hasn’t aged one bit. After all, swashbuckling and roaming the seas in search for adventure never gets old. The game offers a complex world full of gold to grab, ships to sail, ports to pillage, and rivals to ravage with a well placed cannon volley. Or if piracy and treasure hunting are not your thing, you can always turn to trading goods or even get married and settle down. The free roam gameplay is as unpredictable and varied as a sea rover’s life can get.

Both Sid Meier's Pirates! and its revamped Windows version Pirates! Gold take us to the Golden Age of Buccaneering. They let you experience the life of a pirate, privateer, or a pirate hunter in the Spanish Main. The tremendous depth of simulation in these games creates a nearly perfect image of the 16th, 17th, and 18th century Caribbean -- with all of its political, economic, and nautical realities -- and sea-salty flavor. With this game Sid Meier (a promising game designer at the time) earned the status of a legend in the industry. And there was a good reason for that!

Set sail for the ruthless seas! Grab Pirates! Gold Plus--TWO GAMES for $5.99 before scurvy gets the better of ye!
What other Microprose games does Atari have the license to sell?

Crosmando: What other Microprose games does Atari have the license to sell?
It's a bit complicated, but I believe the answer is all of them. Infogames at one time owned Microprose, they sold the trademark but seemingly not the intellectual property, and they own Atari.
Interestingly, the console port of the remake was pretty rubbish, as it didn't utilise the equipment found within the game. The PC version on the other hand was excellent which did..anyway. I'll grab this when it goes on sale later. Prefer the original Pirates over the Gold Edition.
Yay. One of my favorites C64 games of all time.

Well, at the very least they should get X-COM games here, it's embarrassing steam has them and we don't.

Also BloodNet is reasonably decent RPG by MPS which would be decent to have here.

Far as I know the rest of MPS's backlog are racing games or simulation, and are pretty mediocre.
