Pretty deadly little thing.

Captain, I have some new information regarding "The Aristocrats". No, they're still laying low after their last heist, so low that we haven't seen Don or Freddie since the meeting with "The Boss". Someone might've hid them underground but we won't know for sure just now. Anyway, there's a new girl that was seen with Rick Fermione. She from outta town, don know exactly where. Seems a member of the borguise. It's bourgeoisie? Don't know sir, some fancy stuff I don't get--pearls, caviars, and champagnes, sir. Yes, one of my boys is following her. Yes, I know this is very delicate matter. Oh, the mayor... no, of course, no, I mean I'll talk to... Yes sir. No one seen. The report, yes. The last thing, sir--and this is a little bit unexpected--it looks like "The Aristocrats" are planning to move to a new district, any moment now. Can't tell for sure, but my bet is Connecticut Ave. We'll see. Will do, sir. Goodbye.

Omerta: City of Gangsters, an organized crime simulation you have been playing for the last couple of weeks just got bigger with The Con Artist DLC. There's a new henchman to recruit, new weapon, and a new district up for grabs. Experience "the greatest con of all time" in this action-packed expansion for only $4.99 on GOG.com.

Requires the base game Omerta: City of Gangsters on GOG in order to play.

thuey: I'd just like to say... I hope GOG releases more DLCs, so the entitled whiners here would leave for good.

I wholeheartedly agree, but I have a friend who likes them very much and doesn't stop posting these images on Facebook... I figured I might as well use them for something, if they annoy the hell out of me anyhow.

That would be a grace to the game industry. Haemimont nowadays doesn't make anything but new games that merely look like the classical ones and tries to shove them down on gamers' throats who hunger for some nostalgia.

Hahaha, wishful thinking.

Why not? Just add in five weapons, five new henchmen a new mission with 2-3 hours worth of play and away they go. For $5 that would be (in my eyes) a decent add in for the game. Put that into this DLC like they put the last one into the main game and I am sure people might begin to feel a little less ripped off.
It is what Core Design did with the first three Tomb Raiders and I happily bought them then and would do again.

The Gold discs were 5 dollar standalones?
Completely agree - I'm enjoying Omerta and would be happy to pay for DLC / expansions for it, provided only that I felt it was offering value for money. This current offering does not appear close to offering that.
Releasing the payable DLC so soon after release of the actual game will always look form me like publisher is treating me nothing more than mobile cash dispenser.

Releasing the DLC with this amount of content, for the game so bad as O:CoG, and for the price demenaded is just adding the insult to the injury.

tl;dr - gog.com just lost fair chunk of respect that I have had for them. I was expecting you guys to be better than this...

They were around £9~12 when I bought them back when they came out on disk.
Except for Tomb Raider 1 I had to buy them in store and the gold version included the original version of that game plus its 'Gold' game on a second disk.
Tomb Raider 1 I got free with a PC Format disk back a long long time ago, then again when I replaced the TR1 disk.

So, should GOG get the rights to the 'Gold' trilogy and either slightly bump the price of the original 3 or sell that as a standalone game pack I would buy it at say $5.
I wont lie, I would be very, very disappointed, but as I know there are still problems around the third gold pack as it is still a for sale game somewhere apparently or legal limbo between Core Design and whoever owns TR IP.
If paying for it would be an option in getting it here then I would consider it, heck as a separate pack I could always choose to wait for a sale if I did not like the point of sale price.

Yeah it stinks. GOG shareholders knows money have no smell: they don't need to hold their nose for they are far from the shit they decide on us.

poor you. I feel so sorry for you now. My heart bleeds for you. Whatever will you do? I can not bear to think about it. Surely, this is the final days, the world ends soon. But I urge you, be brave. I know it seems impossible, but one day, maybe, just mabe, humanity may survive, may even raise above the day gOg sold a DLC. I know, I know - I am a dreamer, but I have hope still... please, I urge, do not let go of that hope. Whatever you do, do not let go of that hope *sob*, please.
