Niko, when less is more.

Niko: Through the Dream, a minimalist first person puzzler, is available now for for Windows with a 10% discount, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Niko: Through the Dream is a little bit of a lot. It's the mystique of Myst mixed with the lonely, minimalist allure of Journey. All set in an improbable universe that covers an ancient take on the bleached city scapes of Mirror's Edge, painterly fields of green, and surrealist structures that should not be possible. The game is half about exploration and half about puzzle solving. As Niko, you'll travel across islands of memory, each a salvageable remains of powerful experiences from your past - your father's embrace, a childhood loss - every one equal part puzzle and a story to be unraveled. Sounds, shapes, colors, abstract mechanisms and you, Niko. Dare to dream?

A surrealist painting comes to life in Niko: Through the Dream, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The 10% launch discount will last for five days, until Wednesday, July 22, at 9:59 PM GMT.
Is this game similar to Mind: Path to Thalamus?
It looks kind of interesting.. and kind of unfinished.
It could be interesting, I enjoyed The Talos Principle.
Someone forgot to add textures... :P
Mild exagerration on my part, but my first impression, just looking at the screenshots, is that it looks like a colorless Lovely Planet.

Its a trend in Indie Gaming.

Both of us are spoiled by the likes of Crysis 3 :P

Haha, my graphics card can only wish to be able to run this "thing"! :P

Seriously now, the game looks very interesting & regarding it's aesthetics, it's wonderful!
Looks somewhat interesting
Interesting. I actually saw that on steam and dismissed it, thinking it was a movie...
Looks like what you'd get if you cross-bred Myst and Monument Valley. One of the few user reviews up yet on Metacritic says 5-6 hours of gameplay, which to me means $9.99/8.99 intro is a reasonable launch price. Will wait to see if I can spot a couple of more detailed reviews first though.

Don't give them ideas. Otherwise we will end up with purchase early access "concept". Then day 1 dlc of geometry, 1 dlc of textures, then later on story dlc, although that will be restricted to the "enhanced" edition only later on after they release the final part of the "complete" edition as a separate music and art book.
My kind of release! Bought that baby.
The graphics look influenced by MC Escher. It really does have a unique presence. I like it. :)
Been playing this and it is wonderful. I didn't like the aesthetics when I saw screenshots but it works while you're in the game. Looks amazing and so far the puzzling has been fun.

If you want to play with a controller you should know that there doesn't seem to be a way to invert the axis. They should fix that IMO.
