Coming of Age.

Myst III: Exile and Myst IV: Revelation are now available DRM-free, only on GOG.com.
The saga is now complete so check out our Myst Sale with the rest of the series -now fine-tuned for improved Win10 stability, among other things- going for up to -65% off until July 8, 10pm UTC. Goshdarn classics, the lot of them.

Myst III: Exile takes place 10 years after Riven, when an enigmatic man breaks into Atrus' study and steals the Releeshahn book as part of his plan to exact revenge upon the wise explorer's sons.

The final showdown between Atrus and his malicious sons takes center stage in Myst IV: Revelation. We must once again travel to wondrous worlds and conquer brain-twisting puzzles in pursuit of Atrus' scheming offspring. As in the rest of the series, our choices will dramatically change the final outcome of this battle of wits.
Thanks for bringing these back to life.
Forum popping!

EDIT: It is a shame I've never played a single Myst game.

You shouldn't Myst this opportunity to play them now.
Damn, nice, this is afaik the first digital release of these games since they were first released physically.
"Starring actor Brad Dourif"

I can't believe that's not listed in the description for Myst III. I mean come on, he's Chucky, he's awesome, and he's from my home state of West Virginia (Try not to laugh at us. Nevermind, go ahead and laugh, we deserve it). :P

Edit: Finally my new avatar updated. Looks stylin. I loves my Armored Core Raven's Nest logo.

You're trying too hard. But God I love that you're involved with the community. You should change your forum tag from new user though.
What a great lookers they are!

Hey, give him a break, he mystered all the punning power he could.
Nice release. I was hoping they would here arrive soon, as Cyan worked together with ScummVM for their 25th year anniversary collection to making them work on modern machines thanks to ScummVM and ResidualVM.

Btw, any reasons why there are no mac releases? Is it because there is only a 32bit version of ResidualVM, which will be a problem in the future due to Apples move to 64bit-only software? It's kind of sad, as they started on a Mac.

Yeah, Revelation apparently had a very high budget for the time, Ubisoft poured millions into the project for pre-rendered environments and actors ($100,000 on the soundtrack alone) and it shows. Makes me wonder how Cyan managed to get the rights to it.

The best Myst games! Instabought. Thanks, GOG!
Good to have them here, but a bit disappointing that they aren't part of the sale - they seem a bit overpriced for 14- and 17-year old games. Wishlisted for now.

They are probably coming later.

A Word to Mac Users

Myst started out as a Mac-first title, and over the years, Cyan has always released each of our games for the Mac. But for various reasons, maintaining some of those Mac titles now usually means rebuilding them from scratch - an option that, as a small indie studio, takes time or resources we just don’t have. And for games that were produced by other studios, even that option wasn't possible.

But Mac users rejoice! After some research and testing, and the help of CodeWeavers, we've been able to come up with a solution that allows us to offer digital and disc versions of all of the games in this Anniversary Collection for macOS.
