Iron Marines is now available DRM-free. Get it 10% off until September 6th, 1pm UTC.

From the creators of Kingdom Rush trilogy comes the most extraordinary space odyssey. A real-time, dynamic and deep strategy game that will transport you to amazing and unknown planets. Immersive, engaging gameplay, ridiculously appealing art, and a touch of silly humour. Brave soldiers, mighty mechas and powerful aliens await your command to face the greatest challenges.

Even wthout screenshots this looks super sweet.

I just hope it has a difficulty setting because the description does come off like it could be very hard and time driven.
So, is this a sci-fi Kingdom Rush?
I own this and have beaten it on Steam. It is more RTS than Kingdom Rush which is more tower defense. The levels are larger than Kingdom Rush, and there is base building mechanics. Mixture of offense, defensive maps. Fun game, with the quirky, light hearted humor the devs are known for in their other games.
I wonder why Ironhide Game Studio never implements achievements in its games on GOG.
Is this game like Warcraft 2?
It sure looks ok. Will have to wait for some gameplay, because the trailer is too loud of an explosive.
So is this feature-complete right now? Or is this like the Kingdom Rush: Origins release where it took them 6 months to implement all the late-game maps?
Inb4 Iron Maiden threatens to sue this developer too.

According to this Steam review https://steamcommunity.com/id/mustachepwns/recommended/931280/, it's maybe a bit too simplified to be a satisfying RTS. Sounds like there's no way to group your units/assign them hotkeys, and a hard cap on the number of squads you can have, and the base building seems limited to setting up turrets at predetermined points on the map. It may be a bit more advanced than your run of the mill mobile tower defense game, with some RTS style unit management, but it really doesn't seem to have most of the features that makes a traditional RTS.
Figured this would pop here sooner or later. :)
I gotta say, I'm getting a little sick of all the sci-fi games being pumped out.
Couldn't really get into it when I played it on Android. Maybe I'll try again in the future. Waiting for River City Girls release on Thursday so I'll hold off on picking this up for now.

Thank you for all these informations :)
