Imperator: Rome is now available DRM-free.

With the death of Alexander the Great, his four successors are squabbling over his once sprawling empire. Make your own legacy as you navigate the politics, enforce your rule, or exploit the trade routes of a land in turmoil. Will you go with democracy or monarchy? Quash a rebellion or try to avoid it? Keep your citizens happy or subdued? History is waiting your move. Make it grand.

Grab the Deluxe Edition for the Art book, wallpapers, and the Hellenistic Flavor Pack.
I would buy this game, as an history and roman freak.

But sorry Paradox, I'll revisit in 3 or 4 years, when the game will be stable and the endless stream of DLCs will slow down to a crawl.
If you guys want a Rome game, get "Europa Universalis: Rome Gold" instead. It's a very similar game, with superb music, and without any upcoming DLC.

It's pretty much the same as Imperator: Rome, only a bit older. ;)

Did I hear Cities Skylines?

Hope you like the game. It's my favorite game from the back in the days. Also EUIII is really good as well. And so is the soundtrack.

You better stop promoting EU Rome Gold.
If they think it is taking sales away from the latest DLC black hole, they might remove it from the store, add it as an extra to Imperator and only be able to get it like that.

(half joking)

Mr.Mumbles: A certain Cities Skylines would make for a nice addition. ;)
I agree!

I get 5% from every copy of EU Rome Gold sold. (don't tell anyone)

No but really, with that way of thinking, you could easily find a job at paradox. Think about it, just saying. ;)

Hey, I am available!
I can no longer work for Microprose or SSI. Paradox is fine with me.

falloutttt: Everyone have to sigh in, to play multiplayer.

I think this info should be on the store page, not something to find out about after you buy the game.
Seriously, why isn't it? It says "multiplayer" and doesn't mention a third-party account. This kind of limitation needs to be disclosed before purchase.

yeah, can't agree more. even on steam store page it is mentioned, but not here on GOG. :/

BeatriceElysia: steam users need to do that also, to play with their gog friends.

That makes sense to me, no reason people shouldn't have the facts when making their decision to buy or not.
I am playing EU II&III, Hoi II&DH, Victoria&CK I for years now.

I thought, i had fun with these games for a long time, they all had a very, fvery good price/benefit-ratio...
The're on the DLC'train like most publishers but...a stable release and a long support..would make up for it...
They can't bring out Imperator like they did with Rome, Sengkoku,...(wich i didn't bought until they layed at the
"throw away stash")...

Seems i still didn't learned my lessons :)
