Ignition, a top-down racer in which the end-game is fun, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com

Fun, fast, and weird... that's Ignition in a nutshell.

From buggies through school busses, an assortment of racers plows through twisty, jumpy, shortcutty (and absolutely unique) tracks! There's no regard for safety, no time to explain, certainly no time to hit the brakes ever. (Do grab a friend and make time for the split-screen mode!) It's all about the race the finish no matter the cost – which does tend to make for a jolly ol' time.

Swerve and speed through crazy tracks in crazier races with Ignition, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Yup, played it back in the day :). It's nice to see it here (and again). Too bad we lost Re-Volt, but at least some of us got to buy it.

I'm not familiar with this one but it looks like a lot of fun. I'll pick it up. :) It makes me want to play the old Whiplash game. I played hours and hours of that game. :D
FINALLY!

Don't play it with a gamepad, folks. All you need is a keyboard and a little practice.

And some Dramamine. :P
Installed it on Linux (Linux Mint 17.1 64bit, 8GB Ram) and it crashed when trying to play the game. Loads fine, but crashes right when the first run is being started.
Any chance there will be a German version of this too?
The first song is missing from the game, see attached image. You can select it in the menu but it will obviously just glitch. The CD volume setting also doesn't work. It will still be loud, no matter what you do.

Fairfox: First track would be teh data track on teh real CD an' so is not emulated/included. S'also why you can't change teh volume, which is common with these thangs.
I feel like I should know that but I never used the CD for the game except for installation because it doesn't need the CD to run. I think I'll just remove the songs then. :D

Someone's already mentioned owning the German version. I guess it's all in the hands of GOG now :P.

Thanks for letting me know.
Speaking of racing games, GOG, please bring Death Rally (original) here! :)

Should be a simple DOSBox job, I assume.

Oh yes! I agree. Considering it's available at Steam it already has current life with a digital platform. Let's get it to the better one. :)
Love it

Technically, there should indeed be no problems. The question is whether the game will be here free or paid. Before you say "free, of course", I'd like to point out that the game isn't free on Steam and this might end up being the same case here, as well.
