<span class="bold">Galactic Assault: Prisoner of Power</span> is a turn-based sci-fi strategy based on a well known Russian novel "Prisoners of Power". A young man crash-lands on an alien planet controlled by an oppressive society, overthrows it, and now we have to deal with the aftermath. The game is, in many way, similar to the previous Wargaming.net title: Massive Assault, also available (and on promo) on GOG.com. It's a game that looks like your traditional RTS, but remains an entertaining large-scale turn-based wargame behind the scenes. Is it as good as Massive Assault Phantom Renaissance ? I loved this one (and Massive Assault too, but MA : PR was better :) ).

So now the whole Massive Assault trilogy is available on GOG. Good! Very goooood :)

Nice. Looks a bit like an RTS but since it is a TBS I will definitely try it (for this price).

Well, I only played demo version, but it seems a little bit more complex, like more types of units, more tactical options, etc.

This gets my Battle Isle passions stoked. I do believe I have to get this now. And thanks for the mention of the novel it's based on, I'm always on the hunt for more good Russian sci-fi for my collection!
